  4. If you have trouble communicating with your scanner using ScanWizard 2.20, 
  5. 2.30 or 2.31 in OmniPage Professional version 7.0, use this patch file
  6. to fix the problem.  The symptoms are, your computer will crash with an 
  7. error when you launch OmniPage Professional.

  9. Caere Corporation has provided this patch file in order to fix this problem
  10. and you can easily install it on your computer.
  11.  
  12. To install the patch file, copy it to \Windows\Caere32 subdirectory
  13. overwriting the previous copy in that directory.  For example, if your
  14. Windows 95 is installed in the C:\Windows directory, you would type the
  15. following:
