Table of Contents Wizard
The Table Of Contents of a web page is very much like that of a book, in that it allows the viewer of your page to quickly scan for, and jump to, different areas.
The Table is created by assigning a link to each line that contains a headline tag ( <H1>, <H2>, etc ). The Wizard works best when the Document contains simple HTML without any preexisting interdocument links.
These are the lines the Wizard found. On the next page you can choose which of these lines to use in the Table Of Contents.
Select how many heading levels deep you want the Table Of Contents to consist of.
Levels
One
Two
Three
Four
Five
Six
Usually Table Of Contents have numbers or letters in front of each line to indicate position (Ex. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3). If the lines the Wizard has found do not already have these, the Wizard can insert List tags to achieve this effect.
Numbering system to add
None
Finished!
The Wizard will now send the original document plus the Table Of Contents to a new page.
The Table Of Contents will be placed at the top of the document from which you can move it to wherever you wish.
MultiMedia Wizard
The Multi-Media wizard is a quick way to add pizazz to your Web page. On the following page select all the elements you wish to add to your page - a red checkmark will appear to indicate each selected element.
The two main browsers today each take different HTML to do the same things. Choose below to select the browser type you wish the HTML code to be written for.
Internet Explorer
Netscape
Video
Audio
Music
Colors

MultiMedia Wizard
You will need to either add path information to the files referenced in the
tags or else move the files to the same directory as the HTML document.
Adjust the height and width attributes to match your AVI file
Scripts
Scripts are one of the latest, most exicitng ways to add active content to your web pages. These scripts will work with Netcape Navigator 2.0b and later, and with Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 Beta 2 and later.

Video
If a picture is worth a thousand words, say a million words with an AVI video. However, remember that videos are usually large files and can take a long time to download over a modem.
Use Video
Audio
Audio can add an unexpected cool touch to your page. To add a sound simply select a Wave file and click the 'Use Sound' box.
Use Audio
Music
Music is a very space saving way of including sound with your web page. A MIDI file can be only 5k in size, yet play for 10 minutes. Be aware that each music file will sound a little different depending on the users's sound card.
Use Music
Color
Color can really spruce up a web page. A conservative use of color is easier on the eyes than using bright clashing colors. To change the color of the text or background simply click on what you want to change and then choose the color.
&Red
&Green
&Blue
Use Color
Choose a color here to get close to the color you want, then use the sliders
Images
Background images can tie all of your pages together with a consistent 'look'. Keep an eye out for pictures that make the text difficult to read.
Use Image
Marquee
Nothing catches the eye like movement. A marquee is a simple way to alert your users to timely information like the latest changes made to your page.
&Marquee Text
Marquee &Color
Use Marquee
Scrolling Text
Finished!
The Wizard will now place the code in your page. When you are returned to WebEdit, you can cut and paste the HTML code wherever you wish.
