  9. The Picture and Sound Show is a 32-bit screen saver for Windows 95, 98, Me,
  10. NT 4, 2000 and XP that enables you to create your own slide shows from pictures
  11. and sounds on your computer.  Each slide show has many customization options
  12. that control picture and sound order, picture position, transition effects,
  13. picture captions, and background patterns.

  20. The Picture and Sound Show requires an IBM-compatible PC with a graphics card
  21. that can display at least 256 colors at 800x600 resolution.  A sound card is
  22. highly recommended.

  26. Installation
  27. ------------

  29. To install the Picture and Sound Show, execute the supplied setup program -
  30. usually named "Setup.exe".  This will install all the components, and add all
  31. the registry entries, required to run the Picture and Sound Show.  There is no
  32. need to restart the computer or Windows.

  34. The Picture and Sound Show will normally be installed into the Windows System
  35. directory.  If the setup program cannot write to this directory, it will install
  36. the Picture and Sound Show into the Windows directory.

  38. After installation, the Picture and Sound Show may be activated by selecting it
  39. from the list of screen savers in the desktop properties dialog box.

  46. To remove the Picture and Sound Show, delete the files:

  48.    "Picture and Sound Show.scr"
  49.    "PictShow.hlp"
  50.    "PictShow.cnt"

  115. Copyright Laws and International Software Treaty Provisions.

  117. Joel Technologies grants to you a non-exclusive, royalty free right to make and
  118. use an unlimited number of copies of the Picture and Sound Show, subject to the
  119. following conditions:

  121.  - Each copy of the Picture and Sound Show is a complete copy which must include
  122.    this license agreement and all copyright notices appearing on the software.

  124.  - Joel Technologies expressly prohibits the sale, rent, lease or loan of all or
  125.    any part of the Picture and Sound Show, and Joel Technologies does not accept
  126.    any responsibility to third parties for any such unauthorized sale, rent,
