  1. ScreenGrab v1.0

  3. ScreenGrab is a simple, yet effective screen capture utility for Windows.
  4. When running, ScreenGrab responds to preset hotkey combinations, making
  5. it easy to make screen captures without having to click on buttons or use
  6. the mouse. 
  7.  
  8. ScreenGrab can be configured to save all captures to the clipboard, to a
  9. file (prompted at time of each capture), or auto-saved to individual files 
  10. in a user-specified folder. This last method allows many screens to
  11. be saved without prompting for a filename at each capture.

  13. ScreenGrab can be configured to capture the entire screen (desktop),
  14. or just the active program window.
  15.  
  16. Other options include the ability to include the mouse cursor, play a sound
  17. after capture (handy when using autosave or copy to clipboard), and save
  18. images in four popular file formats: JPEG, BMP, TIFF (for legal reasons,
  19. uncompressed TIFF only) and PNG.

  21. The "Hide taskbar icon" option will make the program invisible (when 
  22. minimized), so that its icon is not included in the final capture. To 
  23. restore the program window, use the Restore hotkey combination 
  24. (ALT+R by default).

  32. Being free software, this program doesn't come with a helpfile or fancy 
  33. tutorial. Hopefully, you won't need one. ScreenGrab is very simple to use.
