  1. Microsoft* Windows* 98 SE audio update
  2.  
  3. This audio driver requires an update to the Microsoft* Windows* 98 SE operating system's audio components.  The updated audio components are located in the file "242937USA8.EXE".  To install the updated audio components:

  5. Click on the Windows 98 SE "Start" button
  6.  
  7. Select "Run"
  8.  
  9. Type x:\<folder>\242937USA8.EXE.  "x:\<folder>" is the drive and folder that the audio drivers were unzipped to.  
  10.  
  11. The update program will prompt you for additonal information and will automatically update the operating system's audio components.  You will be prompted to restart your system after the update.

  13. Microsoft* 2000 audio update
  14.  
  15. This audio driver requires Service Pack 1 for the Microsoft* Windows* 2000 operating system.  Service Pack 1 can be located here:

  18. Note: You can do either the express or the network installation.  Read all information on the website before you proceed.

  20. To install the Service Pack:

  22. Click on the Windows 2000 "Start" button

  24. Select "Run"

  26. Type x:\<folder>\sp1network.exe.  "x:<folder>" is the drive and folder that the Service Pack were downloaded to.
