  8. The test files were written for teachers and students of nursing,
  9. allied health, pre-med, physical therapy, massage therapy, and
  10. related professional programs. The author is a professor of
  11. biology, and has taught anatomy and physiology, at a community
  12. college in a suburb of Washington, D.C., for the past 25 years.

  14. This program is Shareware. If, after 10 days,  you find this

  21. This computer aided instruction examination program uses Quizzer,
  22. developed at the Air Force Academy in 1988.  Quizzer is not for
  23. sale; it is provided only as a means to run the data files
  24. written by the author.  
  25.  
  26. Each data file is a set of 25 to 75 multiple choice questions on 52
  27. different topics of human anatomy and physiology. When a question
  28. is answered correctly, an explanatory remark is given followed by
  29. additional instruction on that topic.  If the question is
  30. incorrect, comments are provided only if appropriate. Questions are
  31. randomized and items answered incorrectly are repeated more often.
  32. A continuous score appears at the top of each page.

  90. Although this program is intended for use at the computer
  91. terminal, hard copies of any test can be made.  To print a data
  92. file, go to DOS, type "quizprnt filename.ext". For example,
  93. "quizprnt skel-pt1.qzr". Questions, answers and explanations are
  94. given.

  96. TO INSTALL ANASOFT, do the following:
  97.    1. type INSTALL
  98. (This will copy the uncompressed files to the Anasoft directory,
  99. and copy the data files to their new subdirectories: 5a, 5b,
  100. 6a, and 6b).

  102. TO RUN ANASOFT from your hard drive, do the following:
  103.    1. Turn on the computer
  104.    2. At the C:\> prompt, type "cd anasoft"  (note: without the
  105.       quotes)
  106.    3. At the c:\anasoft> prompt, type "anasoft" <CR>
  107.       a. When the menu of choices is provided, note the area of
  108.            interest. 
  109.    4. Type your selection <CR>. 
  110.       A second set of file titles with brief descriptions will
  111.          appear.
  112.    5. Choose the letter of the particular file to run. Once
  113.       started, the programs are self explanatory.  
  114.    6. If you wish to quit before the end of the test, hit the
  115.       ESC key, but only AFTER a guess at the answer is made. 
  116.       Hitting ESC too early will cause a beep with no effect. 
  117.       So hit the ESC key after an answer is submitted.
