ANASOFT
TEST FILES FOR ANATOMY and PHYSIOLOGY
Version 2.0
1994
The test files were written for teachers and students of nursing,
allied health, pre-med, physical therapy, massage therapy, and
related professional programs. The author is a professor of
biology, and has taught anatomy and physiology, at a community
college in a suburb of Washington, D.C., for the past 25 years.
This program is Shareware. If, after 10 days, you find this
program useful, please register by sending $20, plus your name and
address to:

This computer aided instruction examination program uses Quizzer,
developed at the Air Force Academy in 1988. Quizzer is not for
sale; it is provided only as a means to run the data files
written by the author.
Each data file is a set of 25 to 75 multiple choice questions on 52
different topics of human anatomy and physiology. When a question
is answered correctly, an explanatory remark is given followed by
additional instruction on that topic. If the question is
incorrect, comments are provided only if appropriate. Questions are
randomized and items answered incorrectly are repeated more often.
A continuous score appears at the top of each page.
Files are categorized by organ system. A complete list of files is
shown below.

Although this program is intended for use at the computer
terminal, hard copies of any test can be made. To print a data
file, go to DOS, type "quizprnt filename.ext". For example,
"quizprnt skel-pt1.qzr". Questions, answers and explanations are
given.
TO INSTALL ANASOFT, do the following:
1. type INSTALL
(This will copy the uncompressed files to the Anasoft directory,
and copy the data files to their new subdirectories: 5a, 5b,
6a, and 6b).
TO RUN ANASOFT from your hard drive, do the following:
1. Turn on the computer
2. At the C:\> prompt, type "cd anasoft" (note: without the
quotes)
3. At the c:\anasoft> prompt, type "anasoft" <CR>
a. When the menu of choices is provided, note the area of
interest.
4. Type your selection <CR>.
A second set of file titles with brief descriptions will
appear.
5. Choose the letter of the particular file to run. Once
started, the programs are self explanatory.
6. If you wish to quit before the end of the test, hit the
ESC key, but only AFTER a guess at the answer is made.
Hitting ESC too early will cause a beep with no effect.
So hit the ESC key after an answer is submitted.
