SPEAKING CLOCK, version 1.2 - released 1998-08-29
Welcome to the Multilingual Speaking Clock! The latest info is
always available at http://www.abc.se/~m8501/spclock/
FREEWARE
The Multilingual Speaking Clock is released as freeware, which
means you are free to use it and distribute it to others - as
long as you do not modify any of the files. You are not allowed
to sell the program! Read more in the help file.
HELP IS AVAILABLE
The program is very simple to install and straightforward to
use. Full information on how to use it and how to solve problems
is included in the help file.
HOW TO SETUP
To setup the program, just unzip the archive (which you probably
already did, since you are reading this file) and put all the
files in a directory of your choice. Double-click the "SPCLOCK.EXE"
or create a shortcut to that file.
IF YOU ARE UPGRADING FROM VERSION 1.0
Please erase all the files from the previous version. Unzip the new
files into the same directory. Note that the language DLL's have
new names, and only the English DLL is included with the program.
Read next section for info on how to add the other languages.
HOW TO ADD LANGUAGES
Just download the language you want, unzip the DLL-file and place
it in the same directory as the program. When you start the program,
added languages will be automatically detected. Please note that
you should also always download the files LANG.DAT, as this file is
updated every time a new language is available. If this file is
too old, the new language will not be available in the program.
HOW TO UNINSTALL
Just remove the directory. If you are familiar with the Registry
Editor you can also remove the registry keys used by the program.
Find the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software". Delete the "Lux Aeterna"
key and all subkeys. If you are not familiar with the Registry Editor,
just leave the keys there (they will do no harm).
HOW TO CONTACT THE AUTHOR
My email address is Leif.Porsklev@abc.se, more info is available in
the help file.
Please do not write me and ask when new languages will be added,
the answer is that new laguages will be added when someone sends
