  12. LICENSING AGREEMENT

  14. You may try VidFun for 10 days; thereafter, you MUST
  15. register.  Registered users receive a personal key 
  16. (i.e., serial number), technical support, and latest
  17. version, if available.

  20. ENABLING YOUR PERSONAL KEY
  21. -------------------------------------------------
  22. 1. Run VidFun and select File|User Key from menu.
  23. 2. Enter your registered name and personal key
  24.    (printed on disk or sentd via Email).
  25. 3. Exit and restart VidFun.

  28. SHAREWARE REGISTRATION

  30. 1. Select Help-Registering VidFun from Main menu.
  31. 2. Complete the automated registration form 
  32.    or print the Help file topic.
  33. 3. Send your registration form and fee.

  35. CompuServe subscribers can GO SWREG and 
  36. register # 6583.

  38. After registration is received, a personal key is
  39. provided that is valid for all VidFun 3.x versions;
  40. in appreciation, the latest available version is
  41. sent to you with a tech support phone number.

  43. This key is linked to your registered name and can
  44. be used on single personal computer or workstation
  45. which is not a server.  Another key is required for
  46. use on another personal computer or workstation.
  47. VidFun is 100% functional (no crippled functions);
  48. the key is the only difference between being
  49. registered and unregistered.  Please DO NOT
  50. disclose your key to anyone.

  57. UPGRADING TO VIDFUN 3.x SERIES

  59. Complete the same registration form and write
  60. down your current key (the automated form will
  61. auto-detect it); give yourself a 50% discount!

  64. SHAREWARE DISTRIBUTION
  65. -------------------------------------------------
  66. VidFun 3.x comes in a self-installing archive,
  67. which you can copy and distribute to your friends
  68. or upload to online services.

  70. Shareware Distributors that charge a nominal fee for
  71. reproduction and distribution may copy/distribute in
  72. accordance with recognized Shareware distribution
  73. guidelines (e.g., ASP, PC Users Group).
  74.  
  75. Online versions do not include VBRUN300.DLL;
  76. please provide a copy on your distributed media as a
  77. convenience to new users.  As stated during setup,
  78. you MUST explicity agree to and optionally state
  79. VidFun's disclaimer (see top section) on your media.

  81. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS THE COMPRESSED 
  82. ARCHIVE (e.g., VIDFUN36.EXE) TO BE MODIFIED.

  84. The self-installing archive is ZIP-compatible and can
  85. be tested with ZIP utilities.  Online services may
  86. ADD the self-extracting archive to a ZIP archive and
  87. include a README (or equivalent) file stating anti-
  88. virus software used to verify archive and Shareware
  89. Distributor contact info (e.g., phone, Web site...);
  90. NO OTHER ADDITION TO THE ARCHIVE IS PERMITTED.
