  20. You should CAREFULLY read the following terms and conditions before 
  21. using System Census for Windows.  Your use of this software indicates 
  22. your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.

  24. SHAREWARE VERSION
  25.  
  26. EVALUATION AND REGISTRATION OF SYSTEM CENSUS FOR WINDOWS

  28. System Census for Windows is a "shareware program" provided at no 
  29. charge to the user for a 30-day evaluation period.  SYSTEM CENSUS FOR 
  30. WINDOWS IS NOT FREE SOFTWARE.  The essence of "user-supported" 
  31. software is to provide personal computer users with quality software 
  32. without high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to 
  33. continue to develop new products.  If you find this program useful and find 
  34. that you are using System Census for Windows after the 30-day trial 
  35. period, you must make a registration to Mathews Software Services, Inc.
  36. at the address below. For information about how to register and what a 
  37. registered user receives upon registering System Census for Windows,
  38. refer to file ORDER.TXT or How to Register System Census for Windows in
  39. the on-line help.  When payment is received, you are considered a
  40. registered user, and you receive a registered version of the software.

  42. UNREGISTERED use of the software after the 30-day evaluation period is in 
  43. violation of US and international copyright laws.

  45. Commercial users of System Census for Windows must register and pay 
  46. for their copies of System Census for Windows within 30 days of first use 
  47. or their license is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by 
  48. contacting Mathews Software Services, Inc. at the address below.

  50. You are encouraged to pass copies of only the shareware version of 
  51. System Census for Windows to anyone you desire.  However, all copies 
  52. given to others must include all of the files that are part of the original
  53. shareware version of System Census for Windows you received.  You are 
  54. responsible for informing all recipients of all copies that their copy is 
  55. subject to the 30-day evaluation period, and they must register the 
  56. software if they continue to use the software after the 30-day evaluation
  57. period.  NOTE: MAKING COPIES OF THE REGISTERED VERSION OF 
  58. SYSTEM CENSUS FOR WINDOWS TO GIVE TO OTHERS OR TO SELL IS IN VIOLATION
  59. OF US AND INTERNATIONAL COPYRIGHT LAWS.  You are only permitted to make
  60. unaltered copies of the shareware version of the software to give to others.
  61. You are prohibited from selling the shareware or registered version
  62. of the software.

  66. Anyone distributing the shareware version of System Census for Windows 
  67. for any kind of remuneration must first contact Mathews Software 
  68. Services, Inc. at the address below for authorization.  However, this 
  69. authorization is automatically granted to distributors recognized by the 
  70. Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines 
  71. for shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering the 
  72. shareware version of System Census for Windows immediately without 
  73. contacting Mathews Software Services, Inc. for authorization.  Upon 
  74. authorization, you are hereby licensed to make as many unaltered copies of 
  75. the original shareware version of this software and documentation as you 
  76. wish.  You are permitted to give only exact copies of the original shareware 
  77. version to any individual or distribute the shareware version of the software 
  78. and documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means.  There is 
  79. no charge for any of the above.

  81. You are specifically prohibited from charging or requesting donations for 
  82. any such copies, however made, and from distributing the software and/or 
  83. documentation with other products (commercial or otherwise) without prior 
  84. written permission.  Again one exception:  Disk Vendors approved by the 
  85. Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP) are permitted to redistribute 
  86. the shareware version of System Census for Windows, subject to the 
  87. conditions in this license, without specific written permission (however, 
  88. Mathews Software Services would like to be advised that you are 
  89. distributing the software so that you can be kept up-to-date with the latest 
  90. version of System Census for Windows).

  93. other documentation for System Census for Windows.

  95. REGISTERED VERSION OF SYSTEM CENSUS FOR WINDOWS

  97. The registration fee plus shipping and handling will license one copy for use 
  98. on any one computer at any one time.  One registered copy of System 
  99. Census for Windows may either be used by a single person who uses the 
  100. software personally on one or more computers, or installed on a single 
  101. workstation not used simultaneously by multiple people, but not both.  You 
  102. may access the registered version of System Census for Windows through 
  103. a network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the 
  104. software covering all workstations that will access the software through 
  105. the network.  Site-License arrangements may be made by contacting 
  106. Mathews Software Services, Inc. at the address below.

  108. In simpler terms, you must treat a single copy license of this software just 
  109. like a book.  An example is that this software may be used by any number 
  110. of people and may be freely moved from one computer location to another, 
  111. so long as there is no possibility of it being used at one location while it's 
  112. being used at another.  Similarly, a book is not read by two different 
  113. persons at the same time.

  130. WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Because of the various
  131. hardware and software environments into which System Census for Windows
  132. may be installed, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  134. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be thoroughly tested
  135. with non-critical data before relying on it.  The user must assume the entire
  136. risk of using the program.  ANY LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED
  137. EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
