WatchDoc is a powerful easy-to-use Document Management System for Microsoft Word for Windows 6.0x files. You can create and store multiple versions of a document and track who has retrieved, modified, or saved the document.
WatchDoc helps you to find your way in the maze of endless documents. You can create documents, templates and folders with descriptive filenames up to 60 characters long. You can also recover previous version of your files with a built-in Freeze\Restore
utility.
WatchDoc adds a status icon to your Word for Windows 6.0x toolbar. To receive a full history of the file you working with, just click on the Status icon and a detailed report automatically opens on the screen. WatchDoc performs all functions without interfering with your
regular work routine.
Even if you have forgotten to update your file status, upon closing your file WatchDoc will prompt you to do so.
Installation
------------
After extracting the WD.EXE file into a temporary directory
on your hard disk, run the INSTALL.EXE program using the "Run..." menu
option of the Program Manager.
