  12. Installing  Microviet IKids

  14. IMPORTANT: Please read 
  15.  
  16. Required to use Media Player and Web Browser :
  17.  
  18. Please check to see if you have the Internet Icon in your Control Panel 
  19. by clicking on My Computer and then the Control Panel. If you do not see this 
  20. Internet Icon in your Control Panel, you just simply install Internet 
  21. Explorer 4.x or 5.x on your computer to get this Icon. This software is free 
  22. from Microsoft.

  26. *** Must download Microsoft's media player from www.microsoft.com and install it 
  27. on your computer. If you do not install Microsoft's media player first, you 
  28. may have some problems (when you run setup Microviet IMedia, you may see the 
  29. error "An error occurred while registering the file msdxm.ocx". Just click on 
  30. Ignore Button to continue and complete your setup.

  32. B) 1) This Web Browser is a true 32 bit for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows 2000 . 
  33.       You can not install this program on Windows 3.x at all. 
  34.    2) It will run faster than other web browsers. 
  35.    3) It is very easy to use and is free.
  36.    4) Finally, This Microviet Ikids Web browser is a special design just for Kids.

  40. From CD-ROM:

  42. 1) If Windows 95, Windows 98,  Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 isn't running, start it 
  43.    right now.
  44. 2) Insert the  Microviet Ikids CD into your computer CD-ROM.
  45. 3) Click on the Start button on the Taskbar. Windows will open the Start menu.
  46. 4) Click on the Start menu's "Run" selection. Windows will open the "Run" dialog
  47.    box.

  49.    Enter d:\ikids\setup.exe (d is the letter of your CD-ROM drive).

  51. 5) Click on the "OK" button. Windows will run the Microviet Ikids 
  52.    setup program.
  53. 6) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

  57. 1) If Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 isn't running, start it 
  58.    right now.
  59. 2) You have to unzip this file to C:\temp\ikids or what ever directory you want.  
  60.    If you do not have the pkzip or the Winzip program in your computer, you

  82. 1) Double click on your My Computer Icon
  83. 2) Double click on Control Panel
  84. 3) Double click on Add/Remove Programs Icon
  85. 4) Select and highlight Microviet Ikids
  86. 5) Click on Add/Remove button
  87. 6) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation.

  94.    -Click on Help and select help Topics
  95.    -Click on File and select Open File.  And then select help.htm

  99. 2) For quick help instruction how to operate this web browser. Simply place your 
  100. mouse cursor over any thing you see on the screen.  When you place your mouse 
  101. cursor over any thing you see on the screen, the help text instruction will 
  102. pop-up at the tip of your mouse pointer.  I myself hate the help file program
  103. because I am never able to get what I want and it is very difficult to use.  
  104. So I want to make this more convenient for you to use.

  107. Known Issues:
  108. 1) If you have problem with the Print Button or Click on GO Select Print,  please
  109. hold CTRL KEY down and press on letter "P".  You will see that the print menu 
  110. shows up.
