  19. AllDay requires the Windows 9x or Windows NT
  20. operating system. Minimum requirements for
  21. these systems are as well sufficient for
  22. running AllDay.

  25. Installation
  26. ------------

  28. To install the application unpack all files in
  29. the archive "AllDay_e.zip" into a directory of
  30. your choice. All files from the archive 
  31. "AllDay_e.zip" have to be placed into the same
  32. directory.

  34. AllDay can be installed by executing file 
  35. "Setup.exe" thereafter. When installation
  36. is finished the directory with the unpacked 
  37. contents of file "AllDay_e.zip" as well as
  38. the file "AllDay_e.zip" itself can be deleted.

  41. What is AllDay
  42. --------------

  44. AllDay focuses mainly on computation of calendars.
  45. It is an application for generating overviews of
  46. calendar years. It is based on either the Julian
  47. or the Gregorian calendar system.
  48.  
  49. The user can enter and save day events or events
  50. that occur during a certain period of time. Day
  51. events can be stored as repeating yearly. Events
  52. and periods may be grouped so that it is possible
  53. to differentiate for instance between holidays,
  54. birthdays, vacation, etc.

  56. All events are stored in .ald files.

  58. A window separate from the yearly overview shows
  59. details for any chosen day like number of day in
  60. year, number of remaining days in year, Julian
  61. date, number of week in year, number of remaining
  62. weeks in year, times of sunrise, sunset, moonrise,
  63. moonset, full moon and new moon.

  65. Any number of yearly overviews can be opened in
  66. differnt windows. Events can be stored in any number
  67. of files and opened independently.

  69. A filter function allows to show and hide groups.
