  1. Installation:
  2. 1.   To Install, just run the "Setup.exe" program from the floppy.
  3.  
  4. File Information:
  5. 1.   "MedSauce.exe" = The main executable.
  6. 2.   "MedSauce.ini" = This file contains user settings. Paths to wave files,
  7.      midi files, etc. Setup dialog settings.
  8. 3.   "MedSauce.dat" = The MediaSauce Compact Disc database file. All the
  9.      discs you type in are stored in this file.
  10. 4.   "DelMeds.exe" = UnInstall MediaSauce executable.
  11. 5.   "Readme.txt" = The file you are reading.
  12. 6.   "Saucehlp.hlp" = MediaSauce Help File.
  13. 7.   "default.gif" = Picture of a CD. Used in the "default.html" file.
  14. 8.   "defs.gif" = Background picture. Used in the "default.html" file.
  15. 9.   "default.htm" = HTML file containing the "<%Output%>" tag. Used in 
  16.      generating a MediaSauce CD database web page.
  17. 10.  "default.wt" = Web template file. Used in generating a MediaSauce
  18.      CD database web page.
  19. 11.  "MedAnim.dll" = MediaSauce Animation file. Contains animations for MediaSauce.
  20.  
  21. MediaSauce Database Information:
  22. 1.   Database filename is "MedSauce.dat"
  23. 2.   Maximum number of entries in the database is 65,535.
  24. 3.   Maximum file size of "MedSauce.dat" is 4,294,967,396 bytes
  25. 4.   Each edit field in the Compact Disc Database Dialog has a maximum
  26.      of 256 characters per field.

  28. To Uninstall MediaSauce:
  29. 1.   Load up the control panel.
  30. 2.   Double click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.
  31. 3.   Select "MediaSauce 2.1".
  32. 4.   Click the "Add/Remove" button.
  33.   Or
  34. 1.   Go to the directory where MediaSauce was installed.
  35. 2.   Run the "DelMeds.exe" program.
  36.  
  37. MediaSauce Startup Options:
  38. 1.  "MedSauce.exe test.wav" = Plays a WAV file, then exits.
  39. 2.  "MedSauce.exe test.mp3" = Plays a MP3 file, then exits.
  40. 3.  "MedSauce.exe test.mid" = Plays a MID file, then exits.
  41. 4.  "MedSauce.exe test.rmi" = Plays a RMI file, then exits.
  42. 5.  "MedSauce.exe test.avi" = Plays an AVI file, then exits.
  43. 6.  "MedSauce.exe test.mov" = Plays a MOV file, then exits.
  44. 7.  "MedSauce.exe test.mpg" = Plays a MPG file, then exits.
  45. 8.  "MedSauce.exe /play" = Runs MediaSauce, starts playing the CD.
  46. 9.  "MedSauce.exe -play track04.cda" = Runs MediaSauce, starts playing CD track 4.

  79. and FlatCracker Software, THE LICENSOR.
  80. By executing the program files, you agree to be bound by the terms
  81. of this agreement, which includes the Software License,
  82. Limited Warranty and Acknowledgment. If you do not agree to the
  83. terms presented in this agreement, DO NOT OPEN the program files.
  84. In order to protect our rights, FlatCracker Software
  85. does not SELL any rights to software. Rather FlatCracker Software
  86. grants the Right to Use the software by means of a SOFTWARE
  87. LICENSE. FlatCracker Software specifically retains the title to all
  88. FlatCracker Software computer software.

  97. of the FlatCracker Software software program named "MediaSauce"
  98. herein called the "Software") on the number of computers (i.e. CPU's)
  99. specified in the heading of this License so long as you comply with the
  100. terms of this License.

  102. 2. Ownership of Software. As a Licensee, you own the physical
  103. media on which the software is originally or subsequently
  104. recorded, but an express condition of this License is that
  105. FlatCracker Software retains title and ownership of the
  106. Software recorded on the original disk(s) and all subsequent
  107. copies of the Software, regardless of the form or media in or on
  108. which the original and other copies may exist. This License is
  109. NOT a sale of the original Software or any copy.

  111. 3. Copying Restrictions. This software and the accompanying
  112. written materials are the subject of copyright. Unauthorized
  113. copying of the software, including Software that has been

  139. Separation of Components. The SOFTWARE is licensed as a single
  140. product. Its component parts may not be separated for use on
  141. more than one computer.

  143. Rental or Lease. You may not rent or lease the SOFTWARE.

  145. Software Transfer. You may permanently transfer all your rights
  146. under this License, provided you retain no copies; you transfer
  147. all of the SOFTWARE, including all component parts, the media,
  148. any upgrades and this License; and the recipient agrees to the
  149. terms of this License.

  151. 6. Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, FlatCracker
  152. Software may terminate this License if you fail to comply with the terms

  169. is assumed by you. Should the software be defective, you and
  170. not FlatCracker Software. or its dealers, agents, distributors

  182. Neither FlatCracker Software nor anyone else who has been involved in
  183. the creation, production or delivery of this product shall be
  184. liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental
  185. damages (including damages for loss of business profits,
  186. business interruption, loss of business information, and the
  187. like.) arising out of the use or inability to use this product
  188. even if FlatCracker Software has been advised of the possibility of
  189. such damages.

  191. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  193. This Limited Warranty shall be governed and construed in
  194. accordance with the laws of the United States.
