  6. Game installation :

  9. Run LM_demo_setup.exe.
  10.  
  11. After a few seconds the installer window will appear on your monitor.
  12. Click "Next" to begin the installation process. Then follow the on-screen 
  13. instructions. After the first start of the game, your screen will turn black 
  14. for several seconds in order to transfer graphical shaders so that they are 
  15. compatible with your hardware.

  28. 32 MB 3D accelerated video card with support for Vertex and Pixel shader 1.1

  45. Gameplay :
  46. ----------
  47. The scoring rules are: a train in is one negative point, a train out is two 
  48. positive points on the score. The goal is to reach the pass-mark (a grey
  49. number in the left corner), which means that new trains stop entering the map,
  50. and only after the player clears out all the remaining trains currently
  51. present in the trackage, he/she can proceed to the next level.
  52.  
  53. Entering trains need to be manually let in by showing the green light on a 
  54. semaphore. There are 3 special trains: 
  55. 1) train with stops that needs to be stopped in stations whose icons hover above
  56.    the loco (you must respect the order as well)
  57. 2) countdown train (not available in the demo)
  58. 3) biohazard train (not available in the demo)
  59.  
  60. There's a tutorial map that will teach you every key point of the gameplay.
  61. (This map is the first one in the list of maps)

  68. Four game modes :
  69. ------------------

  71. 1) Time Attack 
  72.    The main playing mode in Loco Mania.
  73.    The map is finished if the score reaches a certain number û a so-called 
  74.    pass-mark. This number is derived from the number of trains cleared out 
  75.    of the map and the trains currently present on the map. The pass-mark 
  76.    is different for each map.

  78. 2) Check Point (not available in the demo)
  79. 3) Time Attack Unlimited (not available in the demo)
  80. 4) Freerun (not available in the demo)

  88. Control is executed in a classical Tycoon 3D style - the arrows and mouse move 
  89. the camera, zoom in and out, and the game cursor above an object displays 
  90. information about it.

  108. RMB on train                  toggles showing of future path of the train

  110. LMB d-click on terrain        moves camera to the spot

  112. LMB on train's HUD icon       moves camera to the train's position
