IDR_TUT_0=|This guide is designed to teach you elementary controls and rules of the game in an easy to understand manner.
IDR_TUT_1C=CAMERA CONTROL I
IDR_TUT_1=To move the camera use arrows or the custom keys that are set in the OPTIONS - CONTROLS menu.||The mouse wheel changes the height above terrain. (If you don't have a mouse wheel see OPTIONS - CONTROLS for alternate keys.)
IDR_TUT_2C=CAMERA CONTROL II
IDR_TUT_2=To target the camera, hold the middle mouse button while moving the mouse. Alternatively, you can use CTRL with the right mouse button (e.g. when you have a 2-button mouse).
IDR_TUT_3C=SWITCHES (POINTS)
IDR_TUT_3=Points are probably the most important element of this game and you'll be dealing with them all the time. If you look around this map you'll see a couple of short green lines lying on top of the tracks. That's where the switches are. By clicking on them you build routes for the trains. The green or red lines clearly show which two segments of the trackage the points connect at the moment. Green color means it's possible to change the state of the switch, while red color means it's too late to change it because the train is already using it. The mouse cursor will change so that you will immediately know when you can operate the points.
IDR_TUT_4C=ENTERING TRAINS
IDR_TUT_4=New trains enter the map on special tracks usually located on the borders. You will have to release each train onto the track circuit by showing a green light on a signal. This way you can control the number of trains concurrently on the circuit. But you shouldn't let the trains wait for too long as there will be other trains wanting to use the same track in order to leave the map.||The train's destination is shown above the train's loco. Before you let the train in, it's good to have a strategy that will eventually clear the train out of the map. At least, you should check if the next switch is set correctly because fixing a problem might turn out to be quite difficult.||A new train has just entered the map and is awaiting your response. Press <GO TO SPOT> to locate the train, find the right signal, check the next points switch and then click on the signal to let the train in.
IDR_TUT_4OK=Well done! The train is moving and now it is up to you to take it safely to its destination.
IDR_TUT_5C=TRAIN ROUTE
IDR_TUT_5=To find out how far the train will go until it is stopped by the points switch you may visualize its route by clicking on it with the right mouse button. Then you will find out if the route is built correctly and you can fix it if the points are switched in the wrong direction. Another click on the train turns the route visualization off. Again, the appearance of the cursor changes to help you determine whether the clicks will affect the route of the train.
IDR_TUT_6C=TRAIN CONTROL
IDR_TUT_6=Other than changing direction you only have indirect control over the movement of the train. To stop it you will have to show the red light on the signal along its path or block the path by the switch. By clicking on the train with the left mouse button you reverse its direction. You will notice that backward speed is usually much slower than forward.
IDR_TUT_7C=CONTROL PANEL
IDR_TUT_7=The control panel serves as an overview of the current situation. For every train on the circuit the panel displays an icon which shows the train's type, its current status and the destination color. By clicking on the icon you are taken to the location of the train. Clicking it with the right mouse button the train's route will be displayed. If a yellow warning light is flashing it means the train requires your attention or can't move due to the path being blocked by another train, if the light is red then something has gone wrong and you should take action immediately.||By pressing BACKSPACE you can switch between various configurations of the panels on the screen. Clicking a train's icon with the middle mouse button attaches the camera to the train (the mouse wheel then cycles between all the trains in the map).
IDR_TUT_8C=CAMERA CONTROL III
IDR_TUT_8=You don't have to manually move the camera from place to place. Double click on a spot somewhere in the landscape for a quick change of camera location.
IDR_TUT_9C=SCORING
IDR_TUT_9=Each train cleared out of the railway network brings you 2 score points or a time bonus depending on the chosen game mode. Similarly, each new train takes you 1 score point. If your score reaches the number displayed in grey in the corner of the score panel or there is time left (in CHECK POINT game mode) the level will be completed. For more details, please see the game manual.
IDR_TUT_11C=COUNT-DOWN TRAIN
IDR_TUT_11=A count-down train has just entered the map. The count-down timer is displayed above the loco and on the train's icon in the control panel. You must clear it out before the timer reaches zero. If you fail a penalty of 3 minus points will be incurred (and the train then changes into a normal one).
IDR_TUT_12C=WRONG DIRECTION
IDR_TUT_12=A train is attempting to leave the railway network with the reverse gear on. You will have to turn it around somewhere in your circuit as the neighbouring circuit administrators don't accept reversed trains into their railway systems.
IDR_TUT_13C=TRAIN WITH STOPS
IDR_TUT_13=A train with stops has just entered the map. Match icons hovering above railway stations and the loco to find out where you're supposed to go with the train. You have to match the order as it is shown above the loco. The train won't leave the map until it has stopped in all the stations in given order. Each successful stop will bring you one extra point (in addition to the two points you receive when the train leaves the map).
IDR_TUT_14C=TRAIN IN STATION
IDR_TUT_14=Well done! You have successfully stopped the train at the right station. If there are no station icons left above the loco, you can head for the output track.
IDR_TUT_15C=NO TROLLEY
IDR_TUT_15=Electric propulsion train can't use a track with no overhead wires installed!
IDR_TUT_16C=NUCLEAR HAZARD TRAIN
IDR_TUT_16=A train transporting radioactive material has just entered the map. This train requires special attention and you should make sure that it gets to its destination as soon as possible without stopping. If it stops it takes 5 points from you and every change in its direction is 1 minus point.
IDR_TUT_17C=TIME ATTACK UNLIMITED GAME MODE
IDR_TUT_17=This game mode has no time limitation. The player has to decide when to stop playing. The scoring system is the same as in TIME ATTACK game mode. It is the score that matters, it is recorded and can be uploaded to a server where an online competition can take place.
IDR_TUT_18C=TIME ATTACK GAME MODE
IDR_TUT_18=In this game mode you have a score limit that you are supposed to reach and it is the time that matters. The time when you reach the score limit is recorded and can be uploaded to a server where an online competition can take place. This game mode unlocks the next map (when the level is completed).
IDR_TUT_19C=CHECK POINT GAME MODE
IDR_TUT_19=In this game mode you have a limited amount of time to play. The time is increasing / decreasing according to your ability to successfully clear the circuit. The goal is to keep playing as long as possible – to be the last man standing. It is the total playing time that matters, it is recorded and again can be uploaded to a server where an online competition takes place.
IDR_TUT_20C=BUILT-IN MAP
IDR_TUT_20=For the overall overview of the circuit you can use a built-in map. The map is accessible by holding TAB. A variety of icons are displayed: the location of the player (white arrow), trains and stops. The map itself shows a simplified view of the landscape for ease of orientation.
