  2. Thank you for playing the official Kult: Heretic Kingdoms demo!

  5. Installation instructions:
  6.  
  7. - Insert the Kult: Heretic Kingdoms CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  8. - Installation should start automatically.
  9. - If it doesn't, run setup.exe from the CD.
  10. - Install the game to your local harddrive while selecting your installation language.
  11. - As the game uses very high compression, installation can easily take 10 minutes.
  12. - Start up the game while selecting your desired in-game language. Once the language is chosen it is final.

  14. Recommendations:

  16. - Be sure to read the manual before running Kult: Heretic Kingdoms for the first time. 
  17.  
  18. - Disable the Norton Autoprotect setting if you are running Norton Antivirus. 
  19. Enabling Autoprotect will result in serious slowdowns. 
  20.  
  21. - We strongly do not recommend switching to another application while playing Kult: Heretic Kingdoms.
  22. This may result in serious graphic and texture problems.

  24. - If the main character in the 'Start new game'-screen cannot be seen, please switch on the W-buffer option 
  25. in the Graphic settings menu.

  30. Some basic controls:

  33. left mouse     - move to clicked location, hold for continuous movement
  34. right mouse    - attack in clicked direction, hold for continuous attack
  35. mouse wheel    - zoom
  36.  
  37. F5          - quicksave
  38. F6          - quickload
  39. F8          - enable/disable transparency for monsters/main character/npc
  40. F12        - takes screenshot, which will be saved into the main Kult directory
  41. LEFT ALT      - displays all items on the ground
  42.  
  43. I        - open/close inventory
  44. C        - open/close character info
  45. Q        - open/close quest screen
  46. A        - open/close attunement screen
  47. H         - hide/show interface
  48.  
  49. ESC        - close interface/opens main menu; pause game
  50. SPACE        - close interface;
  51.         - with only one option in dialogue it advances the dialogue
  52.  
  53. Cursor Keys    - scroll in history window
  54.  
  55. 1-0        - select/use item from quickslot
  56.         - when the dialogue window is activated, it refers to the numbered answers
  57.
