  1. ReadMe for ACM Station 2.1

  4. Purpose
  5. -------
  6. ACM Station 2.1 is an application for converting/compressing 
  7. audio data of virtually unlimited size using various audio 
  8. formats. Using the appropriate audio codecs, which are installed 
  9. directly into the operating system, you should be able to 
  10. compress audio data to a fraction of it's original size while 
  11. avoiding a significant loss of quality. Another possibility 
  12. how to use this application is to convert audio files between 
  13. different file formats while preserving the contained audio data. 
  14. Because of the flexible architecture of ACM Station 2.1, it is 
  15. possible to use future or self-composed audio and file formats 
  16. whenever you want.

  18. Installation Instructions
  19. -------------------------
  20. To install ACM Station 2.1 simply run the program SETUP.EXE 
  21. contained in the package and specify the destination folder for 
  22. the program. The installation also creates an UnInstall entry 
  23. in the control panels Software section for removing ACM Station 
  24. from the system.

  27. ------------------------
  28. The software is freeware and freely distributable, as long as 
  29. the whole package is distributed, and not single parts of it.
