  4. MCPP is a portable C preprocessor developed by Kiyoshi Matsui.

  7. Installation on Debian changes its executable name to "mcpp"
  8. (originally, "cpp_std"), and only installs "standard" version.
  9.  
  10. MCPP has other three variants, K&R, pre ANSI standard, and post
  11. standard version.  Those variants are not supported in this release.
  12. Possibly, those will be supported in future release.

  14. MCPP could be used as a replacement of GCC's cpp. This installation is
  15. not the replacement installation, but the installation as a stand
  16. alone program, /usr/bin/mcpp.
