  4. This is Ruby package for Debian distribution.  It defines
  5. default version of Debian ruby package and provides
  6. Debian ruby policy documents.

  8. Ruby is the interpreted scripting language for quick and easy
  9. object-oriented programming.  It has many features to process text
  10. files and to do system management tasks (as in perl).  It is simple,
  11. straight-forward, and extensible.
