- <p> Angered by the outdoor mural in Washington, a group of
- blacks took a sledgehammer to it. So why didn't they like How
- Ya Like Me Now? Could it be because it showed Jesse Jackson as
- a blond, blue-eyed white man? Inspecting the damage last week,
- Jackson said the artist didn't intend "to disfigure me. The
- painting was designed to force people to think." If it were up
- to him, Jackson says, he would put the painting back on display
- -- with the sledgehammer beside it.
