  17. <p>     The silence of the Lamb Chop is over. Shari Lewis, that
  18. perky ventriloquist familiar to TV-hooked baby boomers, is
  19. coming back, and so is her wisecracking sidekick. This fall
  20. Lewis begins production of Lamb Chop's Play Along, a daily PBS
  21. program with a message: It's more fun to do than just view.
  22. "This is the first anti-couch potato show," says Lewis, who's
  23. become alarmed at the passive life-styles of children "stoned
  24. on TV." Her show will feature interactive songs and games. Can
  25. one woman's tireless limb lure cartoon-crazed kids away from
  26. superheros and Ninja Turtles? Ewe never know.
