  1. Ripper Theme Installation Instructions

  4. Ok, Here goes...

  6. This is the first Theme that I have uploaded. I've made several
  7. themes for my own personal use but have really gone to town on
  8. this one.
  9.  
  10. This archive contains all of the necessary files in two smaller
  11. archives. The contents, intended purpose, and destinations
  12. are as follows:

  14. R-Theme.Zip
  15. ===========

  17. All files contained in this archive need to be placed in a folder
  18. named "Ripper 1" (include the space, not the quotes). This folder
  19. must be placed in the Themes folder in the Plus! Pack folder. This
  20. is probably (if you installed with the defaults) as follows:

  22. (Root):\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\
  23.  
  24. The files in this archive include the waves, icons, cursors, and
  25. wallpaper used in the theme. The only file that you need to move
  26. is the one named "Ripper 1 (High Color).Theme". This file needs
  27. to be placed in the THEME directory (see above).

  29. NOTE: This theme is designed for systems running with more than
  30. 256 colors. If you are running with 256 colors or less then you
  31. may wish to usejust the sounds as the icons, cursors, and paper
  32. are designed for high color. * See the end of this file *

  34. R-Logos.Zip
  35. ===========

  37. The three files within this archive are designed to replace your
  38. startup logo and two closing logos. The startup logo is animated
  39. to create the effect of bleeding. The remaining two are static.
  40. If you wish to retain your original logo files, then copy, move,
  41. or rename them.

  43. To install these logos, place the file named LOGO.SYS in your
  44. root directory (usually C:\). This is your startup logo. The
  45. two remaining files (LOGOS.SYS and LOGOW.SYS) need to  be
  46. placed in the main Windows directory (usually C:\WINDOWS).
  47. These are your two closing logos.

  53. NOTE: I am in the process of creating a 256 color version of this
  54. the Ripper theme. This will include all new sounds, icons, cursors,
  55. paper, logos, etc.. Keep an eye out for it... (sic!)
