This is a compilation of multiple QuakeC Mods. We picked some of our personal
favorites and wrote them into one big ol'mod. Hope you like.

╔ How to use Modification ╗

Unzip the awesome.zip into a dir off quake called awesome.
Run quake -game awesome(or whatever dir you you unziped awesome to)

This is what has been compiled through our efforts. There are alot of options
in this mod. Have fun, Quake hard, and frag'em up! - the authors
* LASER SIGHT! replaces the crosshair...Projected red dot turns blue on enemies
and secret walls. Even shows up on walls for multiplayers and on their screen
when targeted. Toad says "much better!" Mike says "I like it!"
* Multiskin support (18 different!) w/ corpses keeping players' skins after death.
* SNIPER RIFLE! Weapon #9. Looks like shotgun. Has silencer with own firing sound!
DEADLY! Armor piercing..no armor save/damage(straight to health!)
Takes a while to load and shoot so be careful.
* Long Range Shotgun and Super Shotguns are in. To access them, simply
select the weapon a second time. These are COOL!
* Axe is replaced by the Vampiric Rune Axe. Slightly faster, sucks enemies
health. Pulls you towards them. Makes evil sounds when used.
--Be careful trying to suck health from zombies.-- :0
* Selecting the axe twice will bring your Pushing Hands to bear. Hit an enemy
and watch them fly.
* Player Corpses have more Gibs. Players always Gib dying in lava.
* Players can toss like a grenade, one of their weapons or their used armor to
be picked up later by them or another player. The model thrown actually looks
like the weapon and it spins.
* Weapons, ammo, and armor can be dropped/tossed to others!
* Weapons, backpacks, ammo, corpses, gibs, etc go through teleporters and wind
tunnels. (i.e. you can toss a weapon through, shoot through, etc.)
* Grenades now have variable timers...use wisely!
* Observer Mode is now in. You will be noncorporeal (i.e. noclip), and
others will not even know you are there. -Non cheat code built in.}:)
* Pipe Bombs! To access them, simply select the grenade launcher
twice to turn your grenade launcher into a Pipe Bomb launcher.
* Holo-Quakers cost a nominal amount of cells and last a minute. You may have
three of these at a time, with different skinz too!!!!
* Electric Minions cost a significant amount of cells and create an intelligent
friend which follows you around and electrocutes your enemies.
(looks like Quad Damage RUNE!) To create an electric minion, merely select the
lightning gun twice, and fire.
* Crucified Zombies can be shot at and killed.
* If the player has a lightning gun, it slowly recharges giving him one more
cell every five seconds as long as he has less than 50 cells.
* Grenades and Pipe Bombs can be blown up by an explosion nearby.
**********ALL IMPULSE COMMANDS***********
* Impulse 9 will give you the sniper rifle(bind to 9 key)
* Impulse 13 will give you all weapons (in 1 player)
* Impulse 45 will active the projected laser sight.
(We reccommend turning off the crosshair)
--Must activate the projected laser sight each new level--
* Impulse 52 will detonate all Pipe Bombs
* Impulse 53 will decrement your grenade timer.
* Impulse 54 will increment your grenade timer.
* Impulse 55 will toss out your current weapon.
* Impulse 56 will toss out your current ammo.
* Impulse 57 will toss out your current armor.
* Impulse 58 will create a Holo-Quaker.(Has the same skin as you)
* Impulse 200 will increment your skin value;
* Impulse 201 will decrement your skin value;
--Must pick new skin each level--
* Impulse 210 will put you in Observer Mode; (typing "kill" returns you to
normal, so that you can't use Observer Mode to an advantage.)

* press; 1,2,3,6,8 for secondary weapons
1=vampiric axe and shoving hands
2=normal shotgun and long range shotgun
3=normal supershotgun and long range supershotgun
6=grenade launcher and pipebomb launcher
8=thundergun and electric minion

Bug Fixes:
* Added the sniper.wav to the sniper rifle and precached it.
* Made player start with sniper rifle because it cannot be picked up anywhere
in the game.

Laser Sight 1.0

Laser sight MDL's: Me again

This much needed Quake patch allows a laser sight mounted
on all weapons. It will paint a red cross on the intended
firing direction. Watch how easy it is to pluck those DeathMatch
players from 100 yards.
When the red cross is moved over a player, it will turn to a blue
circle. That's when you FIRE!
Even shows up on walls for multiplayers and on their screen when targeted.
We reccommend turning off the regular crosshair!
