- Basic Moves

- These controls work for all wrestlers. However, the actual appearance of
- moves will vary from wrestler to
- wrestler. What's more, each wrestler has distinct weaknesses and
- strengths. If your rival grabs his arm in
- agony, for example, keep attacking him there.

- If your opponent lies dazed on the mat, try picking him up by pressing
- the R Button and attacking again.
- However, be warned: You may only succeed in reviving the guy. Wrestlers
- who are dazed and standing
- are really vulnerable. Keep attacking! What, you think they would show
- mercy if your wrestler were
- woozy?

- Control Stick: Taunt your opponent and appeal to the crowd. This will
- boost your Spirit Meter. Also
- used for Special attacks.
- Control Pad: Move your wrestler around the ring.
- A Button: Weak grapple. Hold the button for a few seconds for a
- strong grapple.
- B Button: Weak attack. Hold the button for a few seconds for a strong
- attack.
- L Button: Avoid a grapple.
- R Button: Block or reversal. When selecting your wrestler, this
- button changes the organization.
- Up C: Enter/exit the ring when near the ropes. Hold down on the
- Control Pad when pressing Up C to
- exit the ropes, then hold up when pressing Up C to re-enter the ring.
- When in multi-player, press Up C to
- tag your partner into the ring.
- Down C: Pin an opponent already on the mat.
- Left C: Not used.
- Right C: Not used.
- Z Button: Not used.
- Start Button: Pause the game. Controls When in a Grapple
- Control Stick: Used only for Special Blow Attacks.
- Control Pad: Up and Down is used to change attack.
- A or B Button: Execute attack.
- Control Pad + Down C: Throw opponent into ropes or corner. Controls
- When Standing in the Ring
- B Button: Punch/Kick. Hold the button for a few seconds for a
- stronger punch/kick.
- A Button: Grapple. Hold the button for a few seconds for a stronger
- grapple.
- Up C: Turn the opponent around while dizzy/standing.
- Down C: Run.
- Up C: When next to ropes, use the Control Pad to face the ropes and
- your wrestler will exit the ring.
- R Button: Block your opponent's attack.
- L Button: Avoid grapple.
- Right C: In multiplayer mode, switch the focus of your wrestler.
- A Button, then press Down C: Throw the opponent into the ropes.
- Turnbuckle Moves
- A Button, then Press Down C: Slam opponent's head into turnbuckle.
- Use when your opponent is
- outside the ring or on the ropes.
- A Button, then press Down and the A Button: Body-slam opponent back
- into the ring. Use when your
- opponent is outside the ring or on the ropes. Press Toward the
- turnbuckle and Down C: Jump off the
- turnbuckle. Controls When the Opponent is on the Mat
- L Button: Drag your opponent.
- Up C: Turn opponent over.
- Down C: Pin the opponent.
- Down C: Climb the turnbuckle. Use when standing next to turnbuckle.
- Controls When Outside the Ring
- Face the crowd, press Up C: Grab an object. Event security does a
- lousy job of keeping spectators
- from bringing large objects into the arena!
- A Button, press Down C: Throw opponent into fence.
- Face opponent, press A Button: Pull an opponent out of the ring.
- Face ropes, press Up C: Re-enter the ring.
