  1. Instructions for using the SCC demo:
  2.  
  3. - Make sure you have AHI installed (it will work without but won't sound as
  4. good).
  5. - Start fMSX. You will see the main window.
  6. - Open the system preferences window using the menu option
  7. 'Preferences/System...'
  8. - Type the filename (including path) of the SCC demo in the gadget marked
  9. 'Device A:'.
  10. - Select a nice AHI mode (PAULA:Fast 8 bit mono, 19200Hz will do fine).
  11. - Select Soundmode PSG + SCC (or SCC if you do not have AHI installed).
  12. - In the main window, press the Reset button.
  13. - Wait while the SCC demo loads.
  14. - Select Space Manbow from the menu.
  15. - After it has loaded, press the backspace key.
  16. - Now select Music from the main window.
  17. - If you want to select a different song just press Run in the main window,
  18. and press almost any key in the MSX screen. Play around a bit, there are
  19. some great songs in there!

  21. Remarks about the music:
  22. - The Quarth music doesn't work.
  23. - The S.D. Snatcher music requires that the SCC+ in the system preferences
  24. window is activated.
  25. - Most S.D. Snatcher MUSIC is activated by pressing (and holding) the right
  26. cursor key, and pressing another key. Don't ask me why...
  27. - If you find out how to activate the Solid Snake MUSIC be sure to let me
  28. know.
