  24. - Dave Haynie (forme C= engineer, Senior H/W engineer at SCALA)
  25.   will address the public.

  27. - Dale Larson (former C= engineer, president of IAM), will be
  28.   present at Amiga Convention '96 to do some presentation.

  30. - Al Mackey (author of the popular games MegaBalls series),
  31.   will also be present for doing presentation.

  33. - Our *OFFICIAL* WWW sites is up and running since friday

  36.    setting up and managing our WWW pages!).

  38. - We are in discussion with some well known engineers working
  39.   at VIScorp to attend the show (not confirmed yet).

  43.      In August, in Montreal, the fourth annual Amiga Convention
  44. will take place!  This convention will gather the Amiga community
  45. together from all across the world to show its support for the
  46. Amiga!  We hope to make this show an event in the long fight to
  47. make the Amiga a well known computer in North America again.
  48.  
  49. WHY:  We are putting on the Amiga Convention '96 to
  50.       support our favorite computer, the Amiga!  We feel that
  51.       for too long, the Amiga has been ignored, and now that
  52.       the Amiga is owned by people who actually will support
  53.       it well, we want to help them out in any way we can.
  54.       We also want to get a lot of people together to have a
  55.       really cool time!

  58.        over 1,000 people, not including the surrounding rooms.

  106. COST FOR RENTING TABLES : $150 - 1 day,  $250 - 2 days, for
  107.                           one table of 6' by 3' and chairs.
  108.                           These tables are aimed towards
  109.                           dealers and developers.

  112. FREE TABLES:  We will also have free tables, for
  113.               anyone who wishes to BRING THEIR AMIGA, whether
  114.               to show off something cool, or just to help
  115.               someone else who might need one at the time.
  116.               However, at the free tables you get less space
  117.               than the pay tables, it is first-come first-
  118.               serve, and you cannot sell products at the
  119.               tables!  That is strictly for the rented tables.

  122. ACCESABILITY:  The show is easily accesable by bus and subway,
  123.                as well as having lots of parking space in the
  124.                vicinity for cars.

  127. WHY DEALERS SHOULD COME:  We offer tables at an
  128.                           incredibly rate, a price which
  129.                           includes electrical outlets and
  130.                           electricity. You also get the
  131.                           chance to show and sell your
  132.                           wares to a crowd of Amiga owners,
  133.                           all of whom have money to spend
  134.                           and are influenced by how big a
  135.                           prescence you have at the show.

  137. WHY PEOPLE SHOULD COME:   We will have stands from many
  138.                           major dealers and developers. It will
  139.                           also have a lot of friendly Amiga
  140.                           owners there, plus a booming sound
  141.                           system and TV setup that will show
  142.                           crazy demos and products. It will be
  143.                           a wild good time for all!
