  1. AWeb 3.0b patch

  4. Use this patch to update your AWeb-II 3.0 program to AWeb-II 3.0b.
  5.  
  6. You must have installed AWeb-II version 3.0 previously before you can
  7. install this patch.
  8.  
  9. To install the patch, double-click the installation icon.
  10.  
  11. The installation procedure will need the original disks from the
  12. AWeb-II 3.0 distribution. After installation, you will have to enter
  13. the registration number (found in the distribution) and your name
  14. again the first time you run AWeb-II.

  17. New in this version
  18. -------------------
  19.  o Fixed many bugs:
  20.    - AWeb could hang or crash (01000008, semaphore in illegal state)
  21.      frequently.
  22.    - Large paragraphs of text could be messed up.
  23.    - Small images on a line by themselves could take up too much
  24.      vertical space.
  25.    - Scrolling horizontally, then going back would not display the
  26.      document correctly.
  27.    - Opening a new window could load the document again.
  28.    - Reload of a redirected page when the redirection changed (like random
  29.      Yahoo) didn't display the new page.
  30.    - With image loading set to "maps only", other images already in memory
  31.      weren't displayed.
  32.    - Submitting a form from an unloaded image "button" didn't always work.
  33.    - ... and more.
  34.  o Added support for image scaling for nontransparent images when using the
  35.    internal (datatype based) decoder.
  36.  o Added support for all Windows characters in the range 128-159.
  37.  o Added support for RAmiga-C in text form fields (copy contents to
  38.    clipboard).

  43. Earlier versions of cybergraphics.library didn't correctly handle scaling
  44. of images. If images look distorted, visit http://www.vgr.com and upgrade
  45. your cybergraphics.library.
