  6. HD_examine version 1.0 allows examination and changing of
  7. any sector of a hard disk device connected to a SCSI bus.
  8. The program is a GUI-based utility requiring AmigaDOS 2.04
  9. or later.

  11. Any sector of any drive may be examined, edited, and
  12. written.  This is NOT a binary FILE editor -- it works
  13. strictly with block numbers and is primarily intended for
  14. examining and (carefully) altering rigid disk boot blocks.
  15. In addition to the hex "dump" of a sector's content, an
  16. option exists to see a textual interpretation of a rigid
  17. disk block's content.

  19. USE OF THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART NOR THE
  20. UNINITIATED.  Incorrect use can result in loss of a drive's
  21. data.  It is especially advised that the program not be
  22. used to alter the rigid disk blocks of your main (or only)
  23. hard drive on your computer.
