Short: Copy 880K+ files on disk (inc PD source)
Uploader: thorium@xtra.co.nz (Shamus Husheer)
Author: thorium@xtra.co.nz (Shamus Husheer)
Type: disk/misc
Big File Copy (BFC) V1.0 by Shamus Husheer.
BFC is similar to the split and join commands, however it splits large
(880K+) files into disk-sized portions and writes them to a device, eg
DF0:, whereupon you can re-create the large file from the disks.
Features:
- BFC IS PUBLIC DOMAIN
- BFC Includes Sources (in assembler)
- BFC Runs on just about any Amiga OS
- BFC is device independant (not just DFx:)
- BFC is 2480 bytes (uncompressed)!!!!!
If you're looking at this for source examples, also get DIP.lha
(same author) as the source is similar but less complex.
