  5. Welcome to MRBackup Professional.  This is a shareware product.  It is
  6. not free software.  Please see the Docs/Shareware document for the
  7. terms of your shareware agreement.

  12. MRBackup Professional is distributed with two document files:
  13.  
  14.     Docs/MRBackup.doc   - plain ASCII text file
  15.  
  16.     Help/MRBackup.guide - AmigaGuide (tm) hypertext file
  17.  
  18. Also available on the MRsoftware support BBS are ".dvi" (device
  19. independent output from TeX) and PostScript versions suitable for
  20. printing on a high quality printer.  These document formats also
  21. include a Table of Contents and a full index.

  24. Installing MRBackup Professional
  25. --------------------------------
  26. MRBackup Professional is installed with the Commodore Installer
  27. program.  Due to space limitations on the MRBackup install disk, this
  28. program is no longer provided with MRBackup.  However, it is readily
  29. available from most Amiga BBS's (including the MRsoftware Support BBS)
  30. and Aminet (Internet/ftp).  It's also available in older versions of
  31. MRBackup Professional.  If you are upgrading from a previous version
  32. of MRBackup Professional, copy the Installer program from your old
  33. installation disk to SYS:Utilities or some other directory included in
  34. your program execution PATH.

  36. To install from the Workbench, simply double-click on the
  37. Install-MRBackup icon.  To install from the CLI, use the CD command to
  38. make the MRBackup installation disk (or directory) the current working
  39. directory, then invoke the installer program with Install-MRBackup as
  40. a parameter.  Examples:

  45.         Installer Install-MRBackup

  47.     If installing from a directory:

  49.         CD MyDisk:MRBackup2         (for example)

  53. About AmigaGuide
  54. ----------------
  55. AmigaGuide is not distributed with MRBackup, though it is available
  56. for download from the MRsoftware BBS (see the Docs/Support document
  57. for details) and many other public BBS's or commercial support forums.
  58. In order to use the Amiga Help key with MRBackup, you must have
  59. amigaguide.library installed in your LIBS:  directory.  If you are
  60. running AmigaDOS 2.1 or higher, AmigaGuide (or MultiView) most likely
  61. came installed on your system.
