  1. LightUp - another Blender Software (BS) production

  4. Once you run this program, any reading or writing to the SX-1's hard drive
  5. will make the CD32's power LED flicker. So now you can tell when the hard
  6. drive's being used, which is quite useful 'cos you can knacker everything if
  7. your hard drive's being written to and you press reset.

  9. It should work for other Amigas I guess, but it's not too useful.

  12. Installing

  15. Drag the icon to your WBStartup drawer. Sorted.

  18. Running

  21. If it's in your WBStartup drawer, it'll run automatically every time the
  22. computer boots. To stop it, click on the icon in WBStartup.
  23.  
  24. If you don't want to do that you can run it after the computer has booted.
  25. From the Workbench, click on the icon once to start it and again to stop it.
  26. From the shell, type "LightUp" to start it and hit CTRL-C to stop it. Or you
  27. can use "Run <>NIL: LightUp" to start it and the same again to stop it. The
  28. "Break" command works too.

  34. It uses SFPatch from dev/c on Aminet. It's very good, despite the fact that
  35. the bloke who wrote it calls himself Wangi.

  37. This is copyrighted by me but freely distributible. It shouldn't be altered
  38. in any way and you should only charge for disks, postage, or packing if you
  39. charge anything.

  41. If something goes wrong then I can't be held responsible for the mess - you
  42. use this program at your own risk. After all, it's free - what more do you
  43. want? I trust it enough to use it though.

  45. And it can't be used as part of anything that's sold for profit without my
  46. say so, although the chances of that are fairly remote, I think. Oh, that
  47. means cover CDs and disks on those glossy magazines as well.
