  1. --------------------------Qoole Object Pack v1.0--------------------------

  3. This is the first puplic release of an object pack that contains easy
  4. to import, and easy to use Quake objects in the .qle format (used by
  5. Qoole)  About every 2 weeks or less i will try to put out an updated
  6. form of the pack which should have more objects, and keep with the
  7. latest .qle format specs.

  9. To use just unzip in your qoole directory with either pkunzip -d or
  10. winzip, it will unzip into a directory called qlepack in a sub
  11. directory of qoole.  Then, in qoole, right click, go to Add Brush,
  12. and click on File..., find the .qle object you want to import, and
  13. click OK.

  15. These objects have been created by a variety of people from efnet
  16. #qoole, I will note when someone besides me made an object.

  18. All objects should work with the quake101.wad, you can get
  19. quake101.wad from ftp.cdrom.com.  Dimensions have been provided for
  20. ones that i have them for, the format for them is X x Y x Z (They are
  21. in the {}).

  25. I have tried to group the brushes together, but not all of them are
  26. grouped, if you send me one of your qle objects PLEASE group the
  27. brush properly or I will have to throw it away.

  29. Objects Included:
  30. -----------------
  31. 10SCASE  -- A 10 stair staircase, made by Jebs of #qoole.
  32. 4PDOOR   -- A Door with 4 parts that all open in different ways, very different
  33.             from the quad door. {128x16x128}
  34. ALTAR    -- An altar, made by DPCRev of #qoole.
  35. CATWALK1 -- A catwalk made by DPCRev of #qoole.
  36. COL      -- A 12 sided Cylinder, made by eSsJayTee of #qoole.
  37. COUCH    -- A couch, made by hsup of #qoole, also one of the coders of qoole.
  38. DOORBTN  -- A standard door tied to a button, to get to work in any way, you
  39.             might have to mess with the angles.  {DOOR: 128x8x128}
  40.             {BUTTON: 64x8x64}    
  41. EDOOR01  -- A door in the style of the episode 1 military level, you may have
  42.             to mess with the texture a little to get it to line up. {128x8x128}
  43. HANGFIRE -- The first of three great light fixtures done by DPCRev of #qoole.
  44. MIDLIGHT -- The second light fixture made by DPCRev of #qoole.
  45. MIDLITE1 -- The third light fixture done by DPCRev of #qoole.
  46. PALMTREE -- Well, qoole now has everything, this is a palm tree made by
  47.             Goat|QCHQ of #qoole.
  48. PLANKBRI -- A Plank bridge that is very well done, and can be scaled to what
  49.             you need. Made by DPCRev of #qoole.
  50. RAISEPLA -- A platform on four stilts, could be easily converted to a moving
  51.             platform if you so desire. Made by DPCRev of #qoole
  52. SPIRALST -- A amazing spiral bridge made by DPCRev of #qoole, ties with the
  53.             palmtree as my favorite object so far.
  54. SUSPBRIG -- A suspension bridge, or flipped over, a regular bridge with
  55.             supports. Made by DPCRev of #qoole.
  56. WOODFIRE -- Another object from hsup, this is some sticks, and a light in the
  57.             center, looks great in quake. {Very Small}
  58. WSCASE   -- A wierd stair case made by Hellgrim of #qoole
  59.
