  5. IMPORTANT

  8. If you want to try the demo before installing it, make sure you double-
  9. click the "MakeAssign" icon. If you fail to run this, page headers in the
  10. demo will be shown in ugly blocky characters. By default the demo uses the
  11. 'times' and 'courier' fonts in sizes that didn't came with your WorkBench.

  15. INTRODUCTION

  18. AWeb-II is a fast and powerful World Wide Web browser for the Amiga computer.

  24. REQUIREMENTS
  25. ------------
  26.  
  27. AWeb needs:
  28.  o OS 3.0 or better.
  29.  o At least 2MB of memory as an absolute minimum. 3 MB or more is
  30.    highly recommended.
  31.  o Either AmiTCP/IP, I-Net225 or AS-225 if you want to access the Internet,
  32.    or a TCP stack that is compatible with one of these. Examples of
  33.    compatible products are Miami and TermiteTCP.
  34.  o Appropriate picture datatypes (GIF, JPEG) to show inlined images.
  35.  o The ClassAct GUI kit (included in the full distribution, not in this
  36.    demo).

  43. THIS DEMO VERSION

  46. This demo version shows pages exactly like the full version does, but
  47. many additional features are disabled in this demo. Most important
  48. missing features are:
  49. - the demo doesn't use multiple windows. Note that when a page has a
  50.   link to another document in a new window, this demo version will not
  51.   open a new window. The full version will.
  52. - the demo doesn't read or save your hotlist.

  62. HELP key when running the demo to bring up the documentation.
