  11. --- CHAOS ENGINE AGA Hard Disk Installer ---

  13. This installer requires the Chaos Engine AGA ORIGINAL disks (there are 2).
  14. It should NOT work for cracked versions or Chaos Engine ECS.
  15. If you've only got the ECS version, then get my relevant loader archive (chaoshd.lha)

  18. The HD-Patched game will need about 2/3Mb of FAST memory and 2Mb of chip memory (AGA chipset)
  19. It should work on ALL CPUs (68020 to 68060).
  20. The game was also patched for NTSC users.

  23. This is a small update for V1.0a. Filenames are chaosaga.b1, chaosaga.d1 and
  24. chaosaga.d2. Please rename them if you installed the game before.

  31. - Memory patch (did not work with 68060 from floppy)

  36. If you've got problems, you can disable the HDLOAD tooltype. The files will be loaded in RAM
  37. before the game starts.

  42. V1.0 had problems with PAL/NTSC modes. This is now fixed.

  51. This patch can be distributed freely, but I'd appreciate that you drop me a line
  52. if you include it in a coverdisk or PD collection.

  54. However, FFD (France Festival Distribution) is not allowed to include it in any
  55. of its PD disks (if you read usenet in fr.comp.sys.amiga, you'll know why).
  56. It's the only exception for the distribution.
