  1. INSTRUCTIONS ON USING MICRO MACHINES 2 WINDOWS FILES:-

  3. You can customize your Windows environment to have special Micro 
  4. Machines 2 wallpaper in the background, and to make Micro Machines 2
  5. noises instead of the standard system sounds. Here's how :
  6.

  8. 1/      To use your new Micro Machines 2 wallpaper, first of all boot up
  9.         Windows. Then select the group "Main", then "Control Panel",
  10.         and finally "Desktop". A screen should appear giving you the
  11.         option to change various things about the look of your setup.
  12.         Half way down the page you should see a section entitled 
  13.         "Wallpaper", and a default filename, or "none". Click on the
  14.         arrow beside the name, and a list of all .BMP files in your
  15.         Windows directory appears. The Micro Machines 2 ones have a prefix 
  16.         of MM and B or S. MMB means that this is a big picture, and will 
  17.         take lots of memory.  MMS means that it is a small picture that 
  18.         should be tiled to fill the screen.

  20. 2/      To use this feature you must have a sound card installed and
  21.         setup for use under Windows - see Windows manual for details.
  22.         O.K. Now, to set up your new sounds. Again, boot up Windows,
  23.         go to "Main", then "Control Panel" and finally "Sound". Now
  24.         you should see a menu system, with descriptions of Windows
  25.         events on the left hand side, and .WAV filenames on the right.
  26.         All you have to do is match up the events to sounds of your
  27.         choice. Again, the Micro Machines 2 sounds have the prefix of MM. 
  28.         To listen to them, just select one and click on "Test".
