  1. Welcome to Rock and Bach Studio demo.
  2.  
  3. This program demonstrates just one of the many different rooms
  4. available in the Rock and Bach Studio music exploration game.
  5.  
  6. This demo requires:
  7.     - an 80386 CPU or higher
  8.     - a Mouse Driver,
  9.     - 480K Conventional (DOS) Memory
  10.     - 600K Expanded Memory
  11.     - a VESA driver that supports 640 x 400 x 256 color mode
  12.  
  13.         NOTE: if you don't have a VESA driver already
  14.         installed, the install program may provide one
  15.         for you based on your particular brand of video card.
  16.  
  17. This demo displays in Super VGA mode (640x400 - 256 colors) but
  18. the actual game can display in either Super VGA mode or standard
  19. resolution (320x200 - 256 colors).

  21. The install program tries to detect if you have a vesa driver
  22. loaded for Super VGA display. If it does not detect a vesa
  23. driver it attempts to install and use one from a set of vesa
  24. drivers included with this demo. If you are having problems with
  25. the display this might result from a vesa driver that was
  26. already on your system that is not 100% vesa compatible or just
  27. plain old and bad. Try to contact your video card manufacturer
  28. and see if they can send you an updated vesa driver for your
  29. video card.

  31. If you have an xga video card and are experiencing graphic and
  32. display problems then run the game by typing MAIN X <return>.
  33.  
  34. If you have any problems with the sound in this game you must
  35. make sure you have your sound card properly installed.
