  25. What's in the distribution?

  27. This distribution contains Glide, Glide3 and OpenGL drivers for 
  28. Voodoo2 Based 3D Accelerators and the Voodoo2 Control Panel Applet.

  37. - Windows 2000
  38. - PC with an Intel(r), AMD(r) or, Cyrix(r) based processor
  39. - One free PCI slot
  40. - 16MB of RAM or more Suggested
  41.

  43. Installation
  44. ------------
  45.  
  46. 1) Start Windows and extract the drivers to a temporary directory.
  47.  
  48. 2) Shutdown Windows, Power off the system and install your Voodoo2
  49.    3D board into a PCI slot. 
  50.  
  51. 3) Restart Windows after hardware installation.
  52.  
  53. 4) Windows will detect a "PCI Multimedia Device", you need to:
  54.  
  55.  Click the Next Button twice on the Detection Dialog Box. Ensure that 
  56. "Specify a Location" is checked and "Microsoft Windows Update" is not 
  57. checked. Click Browse to continue.
  58.  
  59. 5) Point the driver location to where the files are extracted to and click
  60.    OK.
  61.  
  62. 6) You MAY then be prompted to insert the "Voodoo2 Drivers for Windows 2000"
  63.    Disk.  Enter the path the drivers are extracted to and press OK.

  65. 7) Windows will copy the drivers. Reboot the system when prompted
  66.

  68. OpenGL(r) ICD: Known Limitations
  69. ----------------------------------
  70. The OpenGL ICD included with this kit is meant for use with OpenGL based 
  71. games only. It may not be compatible with other applications that use the 
  72. OpenGL API for 3D rendering support.
