  9. FemDOOM is for all those frustrated women who have had to 
  10. play with a male face in the status window (including myself)  
  11. It replaces the standard BJ Blaskowicz mug with a female 
  12. character drawn in much the same style as the original ID artwork.

  16. You should find 2 files within femdoom.zip:

  18.      femdoom.wad      45,851 bytes  (the actual graphics patch)
  19.      femdoom.txt                    (this info file)

  21. Directions
  22. ==========
  23. Step 1: Copy femdoom.zip into your Doom/DoomII directory 
  24. Step 2: Unzip the files using your favorite unzip utility.       
  25. Step 3: Load Doom/Doom2 using the -file option          
  26.     e.g.
  27.         doom -file femdoom.wad
  28. Step 4: Enjoy!

  32. I only ask that you please distribute this wad with it's original 
  33. info file.  I would appreciate it if you would contact me first 
  34. if you wish to alter or edit this wad file.

  36. This wad began as a "B.J. Blaskowicz in drag" manner, and so,  
  37. "Serena Blaskowicz" looks a bit masculine in places.
  38. I also apologize for the rough appearance.  The head turning
  39. doesn't quite look natural.  The ID guys had the
  40. advantage of working in high res, and had the benefit of
  41. better artists and graphics tools! (whereas I drew the
  42. image at the wad resolution.) :)

  44. I need someone to record a good female voice wad to go with this
  45. graphic.  If anyone is up to helping out, please e-mail me care-of the
  46. address at the end of this file.

  48. I will release a cleaned up version later along with the female voice
  49. wad as soon as they are completed.
