  3. ANIMATED WORDS
  4. This software provides an effective and very amusing spelling program for young children right
  5. through to the second grade.  When a word is displayed, the child must select the correct
  6. picture from a choice of five colourful images.  When a match is made, pieces are added to
  7. a puzzle, which is completed and in turn animated after five correct matches.  Digitized
  8. sound samples of the human voice help to support the child's recognition of a given word.
  9. On the other hand, if a word is missed twice, the right picture is displayed in all five 
  10. windows, and the word is presented again at a later time.  In all ANIMATED WORDS offers
  11. a variety of 50 words and 10 puzzles.  This is an excellent program for young children
  12. who are beginning or who have just begun to read.
  13. EXIT: Use the mouse to click on 'QUIT' in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
