  1.                SIS IDE Driver Installation For Windows NT
  2.               =============================================
  3. ^NOTICE
  4.    If your Microsoft NT is installed from floppy, please start SiS IDE Driver
  5.    installation from step (01).
  6.    If your Microsoft NT is installed from CD-ROM, please start SiS IDE Driver
  7.    installation from step (04).
  8. 01) From the "Main" Group in "Program Manager", start "^Control Panel".
  9. 02) From the "Control Panel", choose "^Devices".
  10. 03) Change the "^Scsidisk" device's startup setting from "disable" to "boot".

  12. 04) From the Options menu in "^Windows NT setup", choose
  13.     "^Add/Remove SCSI Adapters.
  14. 05) In the SCSI Adapter Setup dialog box, choose the "^Add" button
  15. 06) In the "^Adapter:" list dialog box, choose
  16.     "^Other (Requires a disk from a hardware manufacturer)"
  17. 07) Next, you will see the "^Insert Diskette" dialog box,
  18.     insert the SIS driver disk into Drive A: and change path to
  19.            "NT31" (for Windows NT Ver 3.1) or
  20.            "NT35" (for Windows NT Ver 3.5) in dialog box.
  21. 08) Next, In "Select OEM Option" dialog box, choose
  22.     "^SIS 32-Bit Local Bus IDE Adapter" and click "^OK."
  23. 09) In the "^Select SCSI Adapter Option" dialogbox, click on
  24.     the "^Install" button in the dialog box.
  25. 10) Installation is successful if the "^SCSI Adapter Setup" dialog box
  26.     reappear, and "^SIS 32-Bit Local Bus IDE Adapter" will be listed as
  27.     an installed driver.
  28. 11) Reboot your system.
