Press Release : In-Touch

In-Touch is a personal database for organizing names, addresses, phone numbers,
notes, calendar dates and manipulating them with a couple clicks of a mouse.
The date reminder and built in calendar system keeps you in touch with all
upcoming events.  You can print a wide variety of professional looking
envelopes, mailing and calendar labels, address and date books, name and
category listings with totaling, and even date calendars using NVDI or Speedo
fonts.

Field names and categories are saved with each file, so you can use the
datebase for keeping track of just about anything you want.

Rather than working with single records such as in a Roledex type program or
using a complicated programming language to filter down the records you want,
In-Touch uses a unique index name view.  Each index page displays up to 45
record names from which you select one or more of the records.  The database
can be searched for marked records, text, dates, or category information, which
can then be used to narrow the view.  Selected records can be marked, deleted,
replicated, copied, and categorized. The entire index view can also be selected
for manipulating or printing any number of records.

For example, to print an envelope, select the name (or names) from the index
page, choose print envelope, select the envelope size, and choose print.  It's
as easy as that for creating everything from labels to  address books, check
lists, and calendars.  You can customize each print job with it's own font
style and size and save your preferences.

You can easily import data from your old database and export any information to
other programs using the Atari clipboard. Other features include dialing phone
numbers with a modem, quick summary of displayed record and name totals, and
customizing of all of the programs many preferences.

For your personal needs In-Touch can be used to organize addresses, phone
numbers, birthdays, and anniversaries for your family and friends.   You can
then use the information to plan your next party, mail out the invitations, or
get your Christmas list organized and mailed out.  You can also create custom
address books for all those names and numbers that you want at your finger
tips.  With the date reminder or calendar labels you'll never miss a birthday
or anniversary again.  You can even print out calendars for the entire year or
month by month.

If you are planning a wedding In-Touch could be indispensable.  You can create
your initial guest list, mail out the invitations, track the replies, calculate
the numbers of guests for the caterer, produce the final guest list for the MC,
record the received gifts, and mail out the Thank You's.

For your home inventory you can record and categorize your CD, video, and photo
collection or just run off labels for your file folders or spice rack.  What a
way to get organized.

If you are involved with memberships or groups, you can easily do mail outs,
track membership registration and payment, and print membership lists.

For your business needs, the date reminder will keep you from forgetting those
important business meetings or upcoming events.  You can create "to do" lists
with prioritization and set them up for future dates.  You can keep client
contact lists, with bring up reminders, and use the dial out feature to call on
them.
