1. Fixed scan for missing descriptions error that caused ocassional
   2 bombs.

2. Added scanning for FILE_ID.DIZ/*.UPL while loading FILES.BBS - what
   this means is now if a file is missing from a FILES.BBS but is
   located in the FILES.BBS path or within one of the additional Links
   then prior to adding the file to the FILES.BBS, the file is scanned
   for a FILE_ID.DIZ/*.UPL along with *.MOD and *.GIF file description
   scanning.

3. Fixed Edit Field editor. Now the cursor within the edit field will go
   to wherever you click with the mouse, was previously checking the
   wrong font size which caused the cursor to almost always start at the
   beginning of the string.

1. Fixed bugger with sortall that caused the screen to freeze between
   areas and now only areas that need to be sorted are done...

2. Fixed problem with uploads and scanning for FILE_ID.DIZ/*.UPL -
   seems to be working correctly now...

3. Added option in setup to select whether or not you want files deleted
   after they are uploaded. Default is to leave the files alone.

1. Discovered a error that occured when copying, moving and uploading
   files under MagiC. What happened was I was using all available memory
   to do the routine and this is a no no - Fixed now so only a portion
   of available memory is used. Sorry if this caused anyone problems...

1. Fixed error that caused FBM to try and write to a CD-Rom area.

2. Fixed Log File routine to enable selecting another log file besides
   FBM.LOG, Octopus BBS users can also change the log file from the one
   they have defined in Octopus.CFG by going to setup and changing it.

3. Cleaned up the display some when doing a search...

4. For QuickBBS and FBM.DAT users the pathname is put in the display
   instead of just QUICKBBS or FBMDAT...

1. Fixed a few bugs contained within the window'd text routines...

2. Added in new routines for setting up FBM.DAT...

3. Changed the way descriptions are displayed. 255 characters of the
   description can now be viewed by scrolling left or right using the
   mouse button, arrow keys or shift plus arrow keys...

4. Totally redesigned the search routines - All matches found are now
   displayed within a window. Files can be checked by double clicking or
   hitting okay, Also made it so that if it's not the file you want you
   can select the window again as it's not closed and check another file -
   this can be done repeatedly until you close the window...

5. Missing descriptions is designed to work in the exact same way as the
   search routines...

6. Missing files is no longer needed - (see sort routines)...

7. Sort routine now purges duplicate entrys in a files.bbs also purges any
   missing files. As for files that are in a directory but are not in your
   files.bbs these will be automatically added when the files.bbs is
   loaded.

1. Upload Files Routine redone - When new files are uploaded each file is
   checked for a FILE_ID.DIZ/*.UPL, and if the file is a GIF or a MOD file
   the information is extracted from the file...

2. Fixed a few bugs that were lingering in v0.91... Program is still not
   ready to be released, only distributed to beta testors...

1. As a result of input from Koos Kuil and some good advice on some
   file management routines. I've redesigned FBM for the 3rd time.
   This version is for beta testors only and incorporates better
   dialog management and windows for alot of the functions. Also,
   changed the menu bar format to allow single key presses to
   acomplish functions instead of the multiply key presses or mouse
   clicks that were required before to complete a simple task... The
   speed of loading and saving the files.bbs as increased drastically
   over previous versions, plus the config loading routines were
   changed to improve performance...

2. Hot keys to scroll through windows are UP/DOWN Arrow (one line at a
   time), SHIFT UP/DOWN Arrow (one page at a time), CLR HOME (top of
   window), SHIFT CLR HOME (bottom of file), Return Key (edit
   desription)...

3. Added additional options to Setup that includes Logging, Create
   FILES.BAK files, Draw3D (Falcon Only)...

1. Fixed bug in v0.86 that wouldn't allow extraction of files and use of the
   file description options POPUP Menu... Sorry, I forgot to add the command
   'Extract' to the high rez resource and as a result the other options
   didn't work either...

2. Fixed window opening error that occured when using Magic/MTOS & more then
   1 window was open - When drawing/moving the dialog in a window I was
   looking for the window handle via the dialog handle instead of the window
   handle so with more then 1 window open a match couldn't be made resulting
   in a blank window being opened...

3. Fixed error that caused the screen to lock up under Magic when listing
   an archive...

4. Changed the way external programs were run from the menu bar under Magic
   - Now when Magic is active and one of the external programs is selected
   and run, the program will be executed and you'll be able to switch back
   to FBM and continue to use it even though the other program is running.
   What I did was use the shell_write() command to run the program...

1. Added support at the request of Glen Kelly to run additional
   external programs. You can define up to 9 additional programs,
   setup of the programs can be done either within the Set-Up section
   of the program or by editing FBM.CTL... Programs are placed within
   the MenuBar and setup options are as follows. You can define
   whether or not you want the displayed file passed on a command
   line to the program, specify your own command line, or you can
   specify commands on the command line then add the displayed file
   afterwards - this should cover almost any option you may require
   when running a external program...

   ARC, LZH, ZIP, ZOO, & ARJ, sorry but you can't extract from a TOS (ZIP or
   LZH) file as the header format is different and I don't know it...

1. Believe I fixed the problem that was causing error -69 when loading
   Octopus.CFG with FILEAREA.CFG & CDROMXXX.CFG files when run with Magic...

2. Changed registration key format slightly to handle a new key generator
   that I made - old keys will still work fine. This only affects keys made
   after 10 Dec 95. The new keys will not work properly with versions of FBM
   prior to v0.84...

1. Changed TickEcho.BBS Description format to include Group Name.
2. Reworked the FILES.BBS load routine to better handle errors in the file.
   I'm still trying to maintain the speed without checking to see if every
   file exists, if errors still persist I'll change it to check to see if
   each file entry exists before adding it to the list. Only draw back to
   this is it would automatically remove missing file descriptions and they
   can be lost when you may not want them to be. Please report any errors
   encountered while loading...
3. Fixed file upload routine to properly handle wildcards in the
   upload pattern. Previously only the first file was uploaded then a
   error would occur stating couldn't read source file, now works
   properly, up to 50 files can be uploaded at once this way...
4. Fixed error in Scan Missing Files - Previously if there were not
   any records in a Files.BBS file and you selected Scan missing
   files nothing happened, now it will work properly.
5. Believe I fixed error that occured within searching missing
   descriptions which caused the system to sometimes freeze...

1. Fixed error encountered when switching display from Paths to Description
   when selecting an area.
2. Added support for using Octopus BBS v0.67 and above utilizing the new
   format of FILEAREA.CFG & also TICKECHO.BBS file. FBM will recognize the
   difference between the two formats so no worries only restriction is
   that the command in Octopus.Cfg 'Include FILEAREA.CFG' must only have
   one space between Include and FILEAREA.CFG.
3. Added another file format to select FILES.BBS areas, you can now specify
   TICKECHO.BBS for selecting files.

1. Added New feature - Now when you double click on the first line of the
   description - the current description will be written to a file called
   FBM_TEXT.TMP and then loaded into the text editor you have defined for
   you to edit it. Then when you save your changes and exit the new
   description will be loaded back in. If the format for each line is 46
   characters or less the lines will be loaded as displayed otherwise it
   will be reformated to 46 characters per line by FBM.

1. Well, here it is... This is a major update to FBM as I've redesigned
   the structure of the event handler to place somes forms within a
   window and to finally fix the redraw problem on the Falcon.

2. File Areas form was changed somewhat - didn't know how to place a
   slider box within a window, sorry... Keys F1 to F10, Alt F1 & Alt F2
   will load the corresponding area being displayed. Control Down will
   page down and Control Up will page up through the different file areas.

3. Within the FilesBBS Editor Control Down & Control Up will scroll up
   and down through the description editor.

4. Setup Form was also placed within a window for better handling.

1. Another attempt at fixing the redraw bug associated with converting
   files, hopefully this one will get it right.

1. Fixed major error encountered when loading a Files.BBS File that
   contains a '*' for the first character in a header line. A check is
   done now for it so it won't lock up the computer on you. Also, headers
   are restricted to a maximum of 10 lines - if this isn't enough please
   let me know...

1. Another attempt to fix the redraw problem with running on the Falcon.
   I've modified several re-draw routines in the hopes of fixing it, plus
   it gives the added benifit of making the re-draws better on other
   systems (I hope anyway)...

2. Tweaked multiline editor some - I didn't add this to the diz editor
   portion of the program - does anyone want it there?

1. Fixed error when listing archive - File was opened but never closed
   which resulted in several open file handles...

2. Added option to select which type of dialogs you want - In setup you
   can select Zoom Boxes (Grow/Shrink) or Normal dialogs.

3. Created a new redraw parser for main form - hopefully this will fix
   the redraw problem that Terry's been reporting...

4. First attempt to create a Multiline editor for editing descriptions.
   Program released to beta testors only for testing purposes...

1. Fixed redraw bug encountered when returning to Load Area Form (fingers
   crossed).

2. At the request of Glen Kelly added the ability to Sort, Search Missing
   File, Search Missing Desc for a single area with the main edit form.
   Options can be selected from within the Search Option PopUp Menu... You
   will still be able to do single/multiple sort from the menu bar.

3. Fixed FBM_H.RSC resource file - Hope the colors look okay on the Falcon.

1. Removed option to upload a text file and added option to utilize a text
   editor to edit a description. To utilize just click on 'Use Editor'
   button or HotKey 'ALT V'. FBM will write the current description to a
   file called FBM_TEXT.BBS in the default directory and run the text
   editor that you have defined in setup and autoload in the file
   fbm_text.bbs...
2. Modified the resource file to add support for ARJ-BETA & Using Editor.
3. Added Support for converting archives to ARJ format - ARJBETA.TTP v9.95
   and above.
4. Added Support for converting a uploaded text file like (read.txt) into a
   archived file. To utilize just click on one of the Archive options...
5. When uploading files previous upload path is now kept, as requested by
   Ed Lynch.

1. Found obscure bug that could cause program to crash when loading in
   areas.  If title of area was longer than 45 characters would cause
   memory to be corrupted and cause problems loading the files.bbs file.
2. Found another bug when scaning a empty files.bbs area and selecting
   cancel would cause FBM to bomb, reason was the first record was
   processed and if there wasn't any would crash the computer ;(...

1. Fixed bug reported by Kim Anderson - Problem was that CD-ROM paths that
   were not loaded were being reporting as being missing and if you had
   alot of different CD-ROMS in use this could be quite annoying. Removed
   reporting of missing CD-ROM paths. Only missing Hard Drives paths are
   reported as missing. Paths not found are still removed from FBM's use!!!

1. Added support for extended file descriptions and modified resource file
   to handle the new description lengths. Description length is specified
   in the setup section of the program.
2. Added support to add a Text Editor and a archive program to the utility
   menu. Define paths in setup.
3. Added a check mark in the upper left corner of description. Clicking on
   the check mark will bring up a file selector and allow you to upload a
   previously defined text description.

<NOTE> Please let me know if you notice any cosmetic problems with the high
       res resource file as I had to use a mono emulator to make the
       changes.

1. Well, finally found and fixed the last description that was not being
   changed. Problem was that when a displayed record was changed and then
   converted to a different archive format the old description was used,
   this is now changed so that the modified description will be changed
   before it is converted. Thanks Terry ;)

   now available.

1. New Program design as of this release with many new changes. FilesBBS
   Manager now uses a menu bar and supports hot keys. Many of the functions
   that were previously done within different forms is now done from the
   menu. Also using the Floating dialog Library created by M.J. Maisey
   to handle dialog control.
2. Best bet is to just check out the program to see what else has been
   changed ;)

1. Added feature to Octopus mode,when the CFG is loaded and the Keyword
   'UpLoadPath' is found,then 'FBM' will include this area in it's list,
   so that transferring of files etc.. ,are made easier.
2. Added Gemdos rename,if files on same drive,should of done it ages
   ago,but you know how it is :)
3. Added option requested by Ed Lynch. You can now toggle between
   Descriptions and paths when selecting an area.
4. Change code to install desktop pattern & handle screen background
   redraws, now using wind_newdesk().

1. When a file is moved/copied the TimeStamp will not change ie it keeps
   the original,thus avoiding new file announcements etc ...
2. Also when a archive is converted,the new archive keeps the old TimeStamp.
3. When using convert and a File_id.diz is to be included,the 'FBM' advert
   will only be added to non-registered copys.

1. Added code to fully support CD-ROM paths in alternate config file.
2. Path checking for CD-ROM added - if you define a different path for
   FilesBBS than the CD-ROM path, you can modify the files.bbs file and also
   upload files to the CD-ROM area, files will be placed in the FilesBBS path.
3. Modified FBM_MED.RSC & FBM_HIGH.RSC files to fix search routines.
4. If a new area is defined ie, selecting Flsearch from a previously defined
   Alternate config setup will clear the current selected area. So, when you
   now exit the setup menu you will have to select an area again.

   is utilized and MAF.TTP is defined.

   wasn't saved...
