  2. Patch Program for MegaPaint Professional

  7. This patch program has two purposes:
  8.  
  9.    1. The paper sizes in the "Change Settings" dialog box are changed
  10.       from A2, A3, A4, & A5 to LEGAL, LTRx2, US LTR, and LTR/2 (all dpi
  11.       configurations are changed accordingly). 
  12.  
  13.    2. It fixes the SLM804/605 problems so that US LTR and LTRx2
  14.       (split on two pages) can be printed on US SLMs.
  15.  
  16. To use this program, put it in the same directory with a *COPY* of
  17. MEGA.PRG and run it.  (Do not patch your only copy!)  It will make the
  18. necessary changes and terminate.
  19.  
  20. Owners of SLM605 printers can print with MegaPaint Professional even
  21. without using the patch program, since there is an "A4" switch on the
  22. SLM605.  You should be aware that this patch program permanently changes
  23. MegaPaint so that it will not use A4 paper -- so if you have a need for
  24. that page size, you should keep a separate, unmodified copy of the
  25. program.

  27. Please note that the patch program DOES NOT CHECK the version number of
  28. MegaPaint.  It should be used ONLY with MegaPaint Professional version
  29. 4.00; the MEGA.PRG file should be 551162 bytes in length.

  34. files are included and unchanged in any way.
