  3. It is ABSOLUTELY essential that no archived program
  4. should be run from this master disk.

  7. These programs are COMPACTED. (You will find them inside
  8. the 'GOODIES' and 'MORE' folders)
  9.  
  10. They must be copied onto one or preferably several newly formatted disks.
  11.  
  12. When you then click on these TOS programs, 
  13. a self-extraction routine will take place.
  14. This routine WRITES to disk!
  15. It is important to leave enough FREE SPACE on the new disk.
  16.

  18. Trying to de-compact on a near-full disk is
  19. likely to corrupt your directory.  Should this happen, write
  20. to Budgie for a fresh copy, but do enclose a SAE envelope.
  21. In any case, this copy of ST-PLUG should be backed-up immediately
  22. as so much information and data is held in it.
  23.  
  24. You will appreciate that heavily compacted programs are fantastic
  25. value for money. The de-compacting needs only be done once.
  26.  
  27. This disk for instance holds 700k of data. After de-compacting
  28. the archived programs inside 'GOODIES' and 'MORE' folders, you'll end
  29. up with more than 1200k of programs and data!
