  1. This is one of the Doom-inspired pictures we are working on
  2. downsampled 50% due to size limitations. Our intent was to
  3. get permission from Id to use the Doom logo on the pictures
  4. for imprinting on T-shirts, mugs, etc., but no luck. I will
  5. post more about the imprinting as soon as things calm down
  6. around here.

  8. Notes about the picture:

  10. The picture was created using Fractal Design Painter X2. The base
  11. image of the demon was hand drawn and scanned in to give
  12. a rough, comic-book feel to the picture. The smooth 
  13. gradient proofs looked too "friendly". The landscape was
  14. created using VistaPro (with much tweekage).
