  1. Instructions to Install Ameol from this CDROM.
  2. ==============================================

  4. Firstly, we'll assume your hard drive is C:  If it is not C:, then       
  5. whenever C: comes up in this document, substitute it with the 
  6. correct letter that identifies your hard drive.
  7.  
  8. We'll also assume that your CDROM drive is D:  If it is not D:, then 
  9. again, whenever D: comes up in this document, substitute it with the
  10. correct letter that identifies your CDROM drive.

  13. Installation Procedure
  14. ======================

  16. Switch to your CDROM drive by typing D:
  17.  
  18. Type CD \CIX\AMEOL
  19.  
  20. Create a directory on your hard drive called AMEOL by typing:
  21.  
  22. MKDIR C:\AMEOL
  23.  
  24. Copy AMEOL.ZIP into this directory by typing:
  25.  
  26. COPY AMEOL.ZIP C:\AMEOL
  27.  
  28. Switch to your hard drive by typing C:
  29.  
  30. Type CD \AMEOL
  31.  
  32. Unzip the AMEOL.ZIP file using pkunzip by typing:         
  33.  
  34. PKUNZIP -d AMEOL.ZIP  *NOTE:  The -d command line parameter MUST be used*
  35.  
  36. Ameol will now be decompressing into it's original state.
  37.  
  38. Start Windows in the normal fashion.
  39.  
  40. Select File|Run from your Windows manager, and execute the file:

  42. C:\AMEOL\AMEOL.EXE
  43.  
  44. You will have the oppurtunity to connect to CIX as soon as Ameol starts, 
  45. you may ignore this and choose 'Cancel'.
