  1. To install this program using Microsoft Windows 3.1 Simply
  2.  
  3. Unzip all files to the same directory
  4.  
  5. Return to windows if not already their
  6.  
  7. At the Program Manager Press File > Run
  8.  
  9. The type c:\directory\setup.exe
  10.  
  11. # Where "c" is the drive letter and "directory" is the directory you unziped
  12. the files to 
  13.

  16. In order for this program to work properly you must have either SHARE.EXE,
  17.  or VSHARE.386 loaded, perferably VSHARE.386 as it is the newer version.
  18.  
  19. If VSHARE.386 is not already loaded do the following.
  20.  
  21. Remove any reference of SHARE.EXE for your autoexec.bat or config.SYS
  22.  
  23. Add this line to your Windows SYSTEM.INI
  24.  
  25.  
  26. UNDER the section
  27. [386Enh] 
  28.  
  29. Add
  30. device=vshare.386
  31.  
  32. If the setup was sucessful VSHARE.386 will be in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM 
  33. directory
  34.  
  35. If Not place VSHARE.386 in your windows/system directory
  36.  
  37. Note: VSHARE.386 Is a Microsoft Program and needs to be loaded to run
  38. windows properly.  SHARE.EXE is shipped with Windows 3.1, and VSHARE.386
  39. is shipped with Windows for Workgroups 3.11; however, VSHARE.386 will also 
  40. work with Windows 3.1 and should be used instead of SHARE.EXE.
