  4. Welcome to FindWord!  This utility is designed to aid in the creation
  5. of and solutions to crossword puzzles.  For example, if you need to 
  6. find a word which is 5 letters long and starts with a 't' and the last
  7. letter is 'n', FindWord will display all the words it can find which
  8. match.  Simply type 't???n' and FindWord will search throught its 
  9. dictionary and pull out words such as taken, talon, toxin, train, etc.
  10. for you.  Or type '???ion' and FindWord will list action, legion, 
  11. ration and many others.  FindWord's dictionary contains almost 80,000 
  12. words ranging from two to eight characters long.  FindWord will list the
  13. first 147 words it finds which match your string.  The more characters
  14. you know, the shorter the list will be.

  16. In order for FindWord to work as designed, the following files must
  17. be present in the same directory:

  19. findword.exe   words.txt   readme.txt

  21. FindWord is shareware.  If you wish to purchase it please send $5.00 to
  22. the author at the address below.  Also, please indicate where you 
  23. obtained FindWord from.  And please feel free to share this program with
  24. your friends or distribute it in any manner, just please remember that 
  25. all three files need to be included.
