  7. This is an example of E-Z-Book's "hypertext linking" feature (colors are
  8. optional.)  In a full-size e-book much more information could be here.  One or
  9. more files, each with multiple pages or graphics, could be retrieved with one
  10. "hot key".  This example has two pages (try Page Down), but you may include
  11. many more pages if needed, plus charts and pictures accessed with ──.  Later
  12. you will see an example of such multi-file hypertext linking.  Even now you
  13. may jump to another spot, as you will discover in the next paragraph.

  15. Another use for hypertext linking is that of an index.  Here is how it works:
  16. A hot key is provided, and whenever it is pressed the reader sees a multi-
  17. paged index.  Return to your prior location with the "Esc" key  The index is
  18. accessible from any place in the e-book.  Press "I" now for an example. (I)

  20. Note: The hot-key which brought you here should not be re-typed while you are
  21. here. If you retype `D' now you will have to hit `Esc' twice to return to the
  22. chapter.
