This is a transmitted-light Polarisation Microscope produced to a .
high standard with a specification comparable to much more expensive .
instruments. It has achromatic stain-free spring loaded objectives, .
x4, x10, x40, x63, each in a centring mount, matched with Huygenian .
eyepieces x5 (with micrometer) and x10 (with crosshair) giving a .
magnification range of x20 to x630. .

The optical equipment includes a sliding analyser and Bertrand lens, .
Mica 147mu and Gypsum red 530mu slide mounted plates. The polariser, .
fitted under the condenser, can be rotated through 360 degs with .
5 deg graduations. This instrument is suitable for orthoscopy and .
conoscopy and can be fitted with camera equipment. .

This is a British built steromicroscope with an excellent finish and .
impressive optical performance. The binocular head is fitted with .
x10 eyepieces with eyecups and eyetubes which are adjustable for .
interocular separation. The inclinable body is supported by a .
horizontal arm which can be positioned at any height upto 345mm .
above bench level. .
The fine focus mechanism is by rack and pinion within the head. Three.
slide-on interchangable objectives are available giving a range of .
magnification of x10 to x35. Standard unit is fitted with spot-light .
and comes equipped with x2 and x10 wide field eyepieces. Other .

The XTD series is a range of large stereomicroscopes, suited for .
